i think there is something going on. it is a little bit crazy. all this waiting i do feel like its being done on purpose, but they CANNOT leave us hanging around forever. so they will have to process our applications

@ madam-m: How many time did they change the proccessing time since you have applied? Why did they closed the embassy in Eastern -Europe contries? Why do we have to pay for the second time? (for documents that were valid when they first got it - medical which in the mean time doubled the price and police certificat). Is this ok to you?

@ alekgalorini: Only a few days set our applications apart, i wish we will all get our PR's buy the end of the year, but I can't help myself and not see the big picture. If we don't get a response from Vienna in the meantime , they will extend the processing time and unfortunatly we will be looking at next year to get our PR's.

I am sorry if my post look so melancholic, but this is the truth.

I agree with you or they will ask for documents one at a time and extend it a few more months. But I really do hope that we get to spend our holidays with our lovers And I do feel some of us will have that.. We will hear something soon by November!

i agree also with you im waited for 13 months after that i recieved a email from vienna,
that they wanne invite me for a interview but lets hope for the best a lot of people on this forum they are telling
me if you get the interview that means its a positieve thing so i hope i got my pr soon and everybody who are still waiting for there PR so they also recieved it soon.
all the other europeen countries like paris, rome they got there pr so fast but yes we are stuck with Vienna

@canada1990 : There is a chance that you might get your PR after the interview, it all depands on their mood.

Some countries are very discriminated and are left for processing at the very end.

From what I have seen here in the forum, I feel like they are getting closer to processing applications that were filed last summer. Does anyone know if people that filed in August or September last year have heard anything?
I'm thinking of ordering these NOTES but I don't know if that will tell me anything except if I passed the medical and if they got my new address?!?? Or is almost everyone doing this?

from what i know no has neard from vienna that applied Aug or sept yet.
I have ordered NOTES twice and it didnt me anything. i would wait

Hi everyone,

It hasn't even been 13 months for the people that applied in August, so keep your hopes up. Don't give up!
We applied in October, I'm still not letting this get to me. Let's all hope for the best.

Also, some good news from a recent friend I made that also applied to Vienna - she received a message from Vienna asking for additional documents - she applied in August.

I hope we'll all be with our spouses soon.

Our timeline for Outland Vienna Office
We did the application ourselves to save money and paid $550, paid for PR card later.

Outland to Miss. Sept 27/13

Received Sept 30/13

Confirmed Vienna Office - Oct 15/13.(Wait time 12 months when we applied) of course since that time it climbed to 13 (February 2014), then 14 (May 2014) and now 17 (Sept 2014)months

Vienna gets $490 PR Feb 26/14

Requested, Electronic Case Notes 6/ 28/14 Receiv: 8/5/14 (Which told us very little, the last time they looked at the file was November 4, 2013.)

An Admin at the Road to Canada forum, thought our PR was likely granted, it was just waiting for a senior officer to make the final decision. Senior officers are apparently scarce.

My partners medical was done January 2013 and Police report July 2013, which of course have expired. We were together 3 years Toronto, when he was a Hungarian Roma refugee. Two IRB hearings and an appeal, but was sent home, not deported. He left in 30 days and has a Certificate of Departure, meaning he can come back to Canada and doesn't have to pay ARC fees. He may have to pay back the $1500 plane fare the Government paid for, but we are not sure.

In the Electronic Case Notes they listed us as in a 10 relationship, which is wrong its 3 years. We have been apart now since Dec 5, 2012 and we are both getting antsy, waiting to hear something, either by email or snail mail. eCas just says processing and no change for 11 months.

Don't missunderstand this, I am not envious i wish everyone to get some news but jumping over people who are waiting for over 15 months or more, that makes no sanse.

People from the immigration follow this forum as well, I also think that some of them like to play with our minds.

No one is getting jumped over. Just because they do not require additional documents from everybody does not mean those who did not receive a request dud get jumped over. Those should be happy Vienna does not require additional documents.

@ kopje: No one is talking about additional documents, what I wrote was that no one is getting any news in regards to what is happening to their application. From what i saw they don't update the e-cases to reflect their progress. A lot of people have requested their notes and nothing has been done for over a year. You are saying that no one is getting jumped yet , "apparently" they take a look at applications from August before they even take a look at applications from June (not jumping over you say, how is that?), that are sitting there on their desk whit no progress what so ever. If no additional documents is needed, why don't they send for passport request?

@ zedtoronto: if CIC paid for the plane ticket, you'll be asked to return that amount before they allow your hubby to return to Canada. I'll have to do the same before receiving my COPR.
