Today we received our GCMS notes. From what we understood, our application is in process, the medical was passed and they are currently working on the criminal check. My question is, if the medical was passed does it still need to be renewed after a year?

When you guys said 'I applied in [date]', do you mean you sent in the application for the first time or are you counting it from when Vienna received the file?

This just means that the Sponsor part of the application is finished. The permanent residence application is still in queue. There are 2 steps.

Does it say In Process on your ecas?

I hope this means the applications before the change to 17 months are not affected. I really hope we will only wait 14 months. If they're working on October applications, surely the same will go for us that applied in November/December.
