This should be rain in calgary....on thursday i was out in shorts and t-shirt raking the lawn and wake up to more of this white crap lol.

I had a picnic at Nose Hill Park two days ago, surrounded by a group of 7 deer
I just checked the radar and the heavy snow is still on the way so we might wake up tomorrow with even more white stuff.

But better weather is on the way. Hope I can start the new bicycle season next week (I am not Canadian enough to ride it in the winter).

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm patiently (haha, good joke) waiting for THE letter from Vienna without going crazy (another good one)
It's almost May now and it's snowing in Calgary again. Enjoy the spring in Europe as long as you can. You will have long winters over here / except in Raincouver ;D

The Balkans so far have not seeing any spring... Greece is by far the hottest country and normally April is an average daily temp of 23-25 Celsius but this April was the pits. We are still using house heat in order to feel comfortable. Of course no snows but its so dumb and chilly.. So as to make you feel better!

The Balkans so far have not seeing any spring... Greece is by far the hottest country and normally April is an average daily temp of 23-25 Celsius but this April was the pits. We are still using house heat in order to feel comfortable. Of course no snows but its so dumb and chilly.. So as to make you feel better!

Some parts of Europe didn't have any snow at all this "winter". My grandma in Germany said everything is blooming way earlier than usually and it never got really cold. The weather is crazy.

The cheapest i found was thru klm but to Sophia its shorter to Nis bit a hassle. The shorstest layover for calgary belgrade is in amsterdam. Will your husband fill out those B forms?

please inform me about situation with passport, because I intend to do the same when they request mine. Don't worry, I also read on some other sites that Vienna will inform the applicant when visa is in the passport, so that he can contact DHL/FEDEX to pick it up. Did your husband use DHL Express 9 service?

And belgrade-amstrdam-toronto $775
But that was few days ago who knows what they will have once visa is in the passport hehe

Hi Tom, where in Greece are you?? You probably said it here already but i dont remember seeing it.....I've only been to couple islands in Greece and id looove to live there, Corfu stole my heart ))

You may now initiate a courier pick-up of the passport (the commercial courier company must contact our Visa Office by e-mail (address: vienn-visa@international.gc.ca) in order to organize the pick up of your envelope).

There was a memeber on this forum, sponsor2012, from Macedonia. They requested passport from her on the 11th October 2013, she sent it by Fedex, and it arrived in Vienna on the 15th October 2013. Vienna informed her that passport is ready to pick up on the 21st October 2013, and she got it by Fedex again on the 25th October 2013. This is the only information I know about that. :-*
