I agree with you but i dont think they go in que. might depend on the visa officer how quick they process each case. In the begining i read on the forum if your file is neat and in order organized they will take that before an application that doesnt look organized or filed neatly. But we will never know that. All of our goals are the same but each case is unique. Yesterday i read about cic actually losing half of someones application and POR. Need i say more hahahaha.

As someone says - statistics! I would like to see some of those visa officers in this 'statistics'!!!

Sure, I will check it out with VAC and let you know. I know about tracking it on posta.rs, but few months ago it wasn't possible from the moment it leaves Serbia, I tried it so many times, that's a great improvement!

Thanks...on the site it says $4960 dinar for passports. I dont know how much dhl would cost but this way seems more secure to me.

When we got an email for new PC and additional documents i was so happy but at the same time i felt bad for everyone that applied before us. Its not like we are talking to people here that arent going thru the same thing or dont know what the process is all about. I wish it went in order. There is a link somewhere for statistics i might have it.

Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) is ready to be picked up. In order to organise commercial courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) and you must supply a pre-paid commercial courier coupon. Ensure that all the required information is completed on the pre-paid commercial courier coupon, including:


· your full mailing address in the "Deliver To" field

· the address of the Canadian Embassy in Vienna in the “Return Address” field (see address below)

· your account details



Once you have arranged the pre-paid pick-up with the commercial courier service, the commercial courier company must contact our section by e-mail (see e-mail address below) in order to organize the pick-up of your envelope.

Please note that the COPR will only be valid until March 25, 2014. The validity of the COPR is connected to the date of expiry of the medical examination results. You must be prepared to use/validate the COPR before it expires.

Since you are in Canada, you can validate the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) by:


· bringing your COPR to an officer at a land border, or

· going to a local CIC office with your family members.

Congratulations Ljiljana and Irsa!! Ljiljana, wow, that was fast... Did you decide whether your husband is going home or no? Maybe you can go to DHL or FedEx and ask them how long it would take. It is a short time, but maybe they can do it. . It's still 11 business days.
My COPR was valid till March 25 too, but I didn't have updated address so it would be too complicated to send update to Vienna, then send COPR back to them and request to send to to Canada so I went to Croatia.
