How are you doing to be honest am little nervous but in another way excited cox i have nothing to hide and i know everything to tell and i have anything to prove all the documents the ask so nothing bad and dont worry i promise i will tell u all the question they ask me and hope it will help you because people saying every case is different so never know But i am ready to go i am happy Vienna will have nice weather on 10 so i will be able to be in the city before my interview and my family will come with me to support me so i wount be alone. thanks muby..just one more question...we have almost the same documents to bring...so when they ask for evidence..i copied 400 pages of skype video conversation and 200 pages of gmail ...hahahahah i know..pretty crazy..but i didn`t wont to put on the disc..because of visually thing....when they see 500 pages of evidence..+ 50 pictures..well what they need more...so question is- what evidence you gonna bring...are they on paper or dics..

That good but u do not put any device cox the security guy wont let you to go with it inside the embassy such like phone, disc, video or ipad. U most put the in papers all the documents. But i dont have 200 pages like you i have little i have good evidence since we live together for more than 2years after marriage, so i have strong evidence what about u did u live for at least 1 year after marriage? I have 10 boarding pass for her visit me during when we are not together.

first-we are not married, we are common-law or conjugal...but we are almost 6 years together-3 seperate..i have tons of pictures...kissing,hughing..skype con. gmail....

i must confess muby i am little bit worried..because...we are not married...not lived together...it is just like that...and i have tons of skype,mail...and from 2009-2013 pictures my bus tickets to vienna 3 times to see each other and plane tickets....money transfer.....is it enough...well i hope so.

No. No alvin chill out, people are in common law for 1 year and if they see its genuie they get PR just be normal they will see your evidence and you will win so no need to be worried if you not married just bring your all documents and all will be ok

Online is much faster, especially if you request the result to be emailed to you (right there you're saving 2 weeks of paper mail time). here is the link through which you can apply:

Your husband needs to print out form IMM 5563, fill it out, sign, scan, and email it to you then you need to print it sign it and scan it so that you can attach it when you're requesting the notes. It'll take 30-40 days if you order it online and ask to receive the results by email, but take into account that we're nearing Christmas and that alone will add about 2 weeks to the process.

My husband is (finally) able to get some time off and will be visiting me at the end of Jan for a full month (haven't seen him in a year). I'd like to throw in those pictures/info into my case, if it will help of course. Has anyone done something similar?

I thought about doing that as well. I visited my wife for 20 days in the summer and we went on a honeymoon and now im currently visiting for 3 months...but after remembering all the evidence i sent in the begining i thought if thats not enough then too bad. I brought all my boarding passes, reservations and pictures. Should they invite her for an interview then i think it would help more that she shows up with extra evidence then send it. I will see what gmcs notes say and then maybe send all that. Including the application my package consisted of 380 pages and around 60 pictures....2 envelopes just proof of relationship. And then i remember people i know personally that got PR in 3-5 months with less proof and knowing each other for a shorter period of time im just getting sick of this.

Milance, thanks for the info!
I also heard that last year (more accurately end of 2012/beginning of 2013) an older couple from the ex-Yu got their PR in about three months after applying. A good family friend from Toronto told me this (it was his friends who got the PR) so it's a bit astounding to say the least.
You're right, it's getting a bit sickening but we can't do a thing to change it. We need to stay positive and be patient.

Hope everyone is doing good on here. It's a bit hard around the holidays, but we will all be home soon!!!! =D
