Hi Canada 1944,
welcome to our little forum. There are a few of us here from last year and still waiting. Patience is something that you will learn even if you thought that you didn't have it in you. We get stronger each day because this is not easy what we and our loved ones are going through. Everyone here understands...we are all in the same boat. Everyone is from a different country, speaks a different language but we are all waiting for the same thing.

Yes I was waiting since January and they ask me for additional documents since april and i sent it i didnt hear from them since April if you push so much for emailing them they can put your file in Q means u have to wait more and more so its better to sit a side and be patient like all of us

i think im waiting now 5 months because they recieved it on 17 may 2013 and i get an letter on june 11 that its send to vienna i think. i had an qeustion why are they take so long ? what is the longst time the background chek? what is the process in vienna

Canada1944 welcome here. Yes, as Tom said, reality has an ugly face, so let's just hold on, and be patient there is nothing we can do, absolutely nothing. I get frustrated as well, and kind of hysterical once in a while... Let it out and then it's bearable for a while again.

me and my spouse are apart from each other and thats really sucks, we miss each other a lot and sometimes it is frustrating that we are not together

We too woke up on a bright sunny day with temps up to 25c. Today is Thursday and on Thursdays I always say to my self "Patience Tom we still have another day to go: Friday! " When Friday goes too I smile and say two more days for the weekend to go fast and then BAMmmmmmm Monday and a fresh week of hoping and waiting.

Thank you very much for including us in your prayers dear. We all definitely need them!

Guys I like to add here that if anyone feels like staying away from the thread for a while I personally will understand as I too am thinking to take a little leave of absence from here to quiet down my frustration.

I am on the Facebook so I will definitely will keep on touch with most of you who are already connected with me. Anyone else wishing to connect with me in FB please send me a PM here and I will send you my user name in FB.

I am so sorry, I had never in my life backed out on anything and I am a fighter since my early childhood! I am not a chicken man But due to my lack of rest having a newborn baby with colic pains and keeping us awake at night and mostly because of feeling of a rush of anger with Vienna, I believe it would do me good and maybe help me to calm down if I do not log in in here and read again NO NEWS.

Please understand me and do not judge me too harsh! I will always be your friend and I will keep my promise to meet you guys when we are in Canada. I will be more than happy to chat in FB or in Skype and I would love that!

But staying away from here maybe is going to do some good also to you. What I mean is because of my frustration and the feeling of anger about Vienna I might involuntarily pass you guys my negative feelings and I know that this is the last thing you guys want here!

So let's meet on neutral grounds like FB and Skype!

June 11 you most start counting your processing time from vienna from 11 june i think you need to relax little bit like i told u in last post in november its 10months since when vienna recieved my application no news no ecas change just waiting
