US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

My bad, I didn't give background of my situation. I received ITA though express entry to apply for PR within 90 days and my last day is August 16th, 2017. I haven't submitted my PR application yet because I am waiting for FBI PCC, though I know CIC suggests if you haven't received your PCC before the deadline, submit explanation and valid proof for not getting PCC. I heard people doing that but for few their application got rejected.

Ask for an extension to submit the FBI PCC. It's very common and they grant it very quickly. Let them know when you submitted the request and FBI is currently working on packages received on May 10th.

My deadline was the same as you, but I gave up waiting and applied with an explanation on July 12. On July 24 I got a message from them asking me to upload some other documents that apparently were not legible, but they didn't say anything about the FBI PCC yet... I don't know if it's ok, because on their website they say something like "if, on the last day, you still haven't received the pcc, you can upload an explanation and apply. But it's not guaranteed that your application will be accepted with an explanation"... So I guess it's your call =)

I called FBI. I turned out that both 26306 and 26301 are correct zip codes for them. Thanks!

What kind of mail service FBI uses to send out the Identity Check certificates? Is it standard USPS service? I am wondering how log it took for you to reach at your place. I mean what was date printed on your letter and and the date you received the certificate? Thanks!

I called them they answer your call and are very polite and luckily it was a 2 minute wait for me.Also, they mentioned that they are processing package that are received from May 9 to May 15.

My fingerprints and Identity History Summary Check application was received by the FBI on April 21st
When I called them this past Tuesday they said it was mailed to me on July 10th
I received it today, July 17th
The date on my FBI IHSC letter is July 7th

Posting this in case others waiting for get their letter from the FBI find this useful.

I paid with a money order so I have no idea when they cashed the money order, although based on another post I read on this thread it seems they charge your card at the very end when they get to issuing your letter. I live in New York so the letter was delivered from WV to NY.
