Hi all,

Currently I'm 20 years old student, Canadian citizen. I just got married with my husband(33yrs old) on July 3rd, whom I have known for more than 3 years. My husband is US citizen since 2008 and currently working in USA for the last 7 years.

Several questions:
1. From what I gathered, I don't need to provide proof of income. But I will need to explain in separate paper, stating that my parents will help in providing shelter, food, etc. Is this really ok? Can I give my husband's proof of income in USA even though he will quit the job once he get the PR? Or any other proof of income/bank statement from parents or anything to really help in sponsoring my husband?

2. Do I need my husband as co-signer? Or is it only for common-law relationship?

3. What is actually inland and outland procedure? I read that people prefer outland method since it's faster. Can you explain what I should do to make it faster(outland method)?

4. What is the best way to proof that our relationship is genuine(how many pictures, phone records or any other proofs)?

5. My husband became US citizen since 2008, and never been in other country for more than 6 months. Does he still need to obtain police record when he wasn't US citizen, or FBI record is enough for him?

Thank you for your help.

1. Yes
2. No, your husband is the applicant. No co-signer in this case.
