Hi all!
I'm sponsoring my partner (family class, common-law) to come to Canada with an outland application. I've been approved as a sponsor (woo!) and now they're processing his part of the application.
I have a couple of questions:
- We currently live in London but we want to travel for a month or two next summer (abroad) is there any reason this would be an issue?
- I'm planning on starting postgrad studies in Canada next fall (September 2016). If our application hasn't yet been approved by that time, our plan was for my partner to stay in the UK so he could continue working (so he's not sitting idly in Canada) until the application is approved but I'm wondering if this is allowed? (i.e. are we allowed to be apart during the application process)?
Replies/info much appreciated!
Cheers
