Hi! Just been a silent reader this past few months..

I'm also a November applicant, I'm just wondering how long cic will send ppr after your file
Went "we started processing your application"
It's been 3 months and 25 days after my file changed and I don't hear anything since then. :(

Is there anyone here with the same experience like mine..

Thanks!
Wednesday

Hi Wednesday,

I don't know whether you have had a look at November track sheet or not. Just take a look at it if you haven't looked at it as of now...so that you may get some idea.

That's really too long after your file went In-Process status.

Anyway, could you please tell us more about your time lines? So that somebody may try to say about your case. Specifically...are you an inside Canada applicant?

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanks Sarayu for your prompt reply.

I always visit the November track sheet under your signature and most of the applicant had their ppr after 2 - 3 months.. But usually 2 months.. :(

Here's my timeline
Visa office : Ottawa
Category: FSW-PNP

App filed : November 7
Aor received: January 8
Medical done : feb 8
Add'l docs request : march 28
Docs submitted : may 7
Docs receive by cic: may 14
In process : may 15
Request rprf : may 22 ( but I already include it when I submitted my application)

And nothing I heard from them.. :(

I'm an inland applicant.. :(

Thanks,
Wednesday

Hi Wednesday,

Thanks for sharing your timelines. It's really too long...almost 4 months after In-Process status. I would suggest you to send CPP-Ottawa an email requesting your application status. Or apply for your GCMS notes. That's how you will come to know what's happening in your case.

Have you been lived in multiple countries before? If yes, it may be one of the reasons for this delay...but not very sure.

Anyway, wish you good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Sarayu,

Kindly update track sheet with passport received with PR Visa on the 28 August 2013

Yeah it was. My visa office - Accra has the option of sending your passport through courier or you appear in person.

For the courier option it takes 30 days while the in-person option involves you appearing at the embassy and the visa is issued same day. I opted for the in-person and had the visa stamped on our passports on the 28 August.

Hi guys

Yesterday I got a message from Ottawa requested me to submit new original police certificate and again updated history which I sent them on June 24th! That's nonsense. Moreover, they gave me only 2 days to submit these docs!...However in Russia to obtain police certificate takes up to 35 days! So it's sad that my process will be again pending...

I hope you quoted your application number on the parcel and the envelope you used in sending the docs to the VO .. Maybe you should sent them a friendly mail saying you have sent the requested infromation and if possible the tracking number of the package you sent ...

Cheers

Thanks for your reply!
My first police certificate from Russia I sent in November along with my PR package. On June 24th they just requested my updated history via email with the exception of ppc. Now they changed their mind and they asked me to mail them ppc within 2 days from Russia.
But thanks for the suggestion to quote my application number on the envelope and let them know about tracking number...I'll bear it in my mind while sending them my ppc via mail

Hi ksoalka,

Almost the same situation has been happened for the other guy 2 days ago...his forum name is "funloving". He said, he has submitted what ever they are asking again now. And more over exactly, he was also give ONLY 2 days to submit those docs....which is really difficult to do. How can they expect PCC within 2 days?

Just an idea from me...you said you had already submitted your PCC and updated personal history on 24th June....so, do you have a scanned copy of it by chance? If yes, I would suggest you to send those scanned copies via email and tell them that you had sent the originals to you on so and so date along with courier tracking number.

Worst case, if you don't have the scanned copies, just tell them it takes about 35 days to get the PCC from Russia. Finally what I say is communicate with them within the time given to you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
