Finally, I have received the passport request today, Friday 13th Sep, 8.23 P.m Vancouver time. It has been a roller coaster ride for me. However, you know the saying if end is well, all is well. I am grateful to god.

Thank you so much for your guidance and support. I have sent my passport to CPP-O on 16th, Sep and Ottawa received it on 18th, Sep.

Lets see how long it takes to get it back.

Hi all,
I got my gcms notes dated for Aug 25. and it shows that just security hasn't been started and all other ones are passed.and finally received my wife's medical form (added her after my medical). Even got a call from my application's officer and she kindly asked me some questions about my back home's police certificate.it seems that everything went fine. I was wondering how long is gonna be after this step. Waiting is getting more frustrating. Wish every one best luck.

Hi EssP,

CPP-O track sheet is only for the applicants who's visa ofice is CPP-Ottawa. It was initially managed by somebody else and he has given me the write access. No one is asking me to update that anymore now a days, so it's just sitting there like that.

Bro you have been handling spreadsheet and been to this forum for long time and interacting with other people on different situations. As per your experience how long can ottawa visa office take to issue you a visa. As its been more than 3 weeks for me and other memebers. As you can see in this following link.

I sent an email to Ottawa and they are saying that they are still waiting for my passport. They also wrote possibility my passport is still in mail or might have arrived at their office but hasn't been associated to my file yet.

I sent email twice with all details, tracking numbers, receivers name, delivery status screen short pic. But again I received the same standard reply.

Any idea bro what can be going on?? Have you seen anybody waiting so long.??

Hi Aarjay,

First of all it's quite normal. I have seen one more guy who is in exactly like your situation. He submitted his Passport to CPP-Ottawa and it was very recently delivered as per the tracking info. He just got shocked to know that it wasn't reached when he inquired with CPP-O. But the real thing what they said was...it might have already arrived our office but it's not yet opened. As per my understanding I am sure that our envelops will not be opened until all others visas are stamped who are in queue before to you. So, it's very normal that they may tell us it's not reached if we inquire about it. So, no need to worry at all. y best suggestion to you is just be patient and keep waiting.

What I noticed here is...it takes about 2 weeks for in Canada applicants and up to 2 months for the out side Canada applicants to receive passports back from CPP-Ottawa. But it's just my calculation as I saw many people here...and it may be different as time goes.
