@ babakura:
I agree with Kavy Sandhu.
The physician will send the medical examination results to Immigration Health Services (IHS), who will create their report for the visa office. IHS will then forward the report to CPP-Ottawa. So, we don't have to worry about anything, the doctor office will be taking care of everything. This is what I was told by my representative.
@ Steffi80:
Congratulations on your AOR...I am very happy for you. Good luck for your MR and rest of the things. Looks like Atinsingh has already updated tracksheet.
@ zizu:
Heyyyy Congratulations buddy...you got AOR earlier than I predicted....good to see that you got AOR.
Do you already have the Police Clearance Certificate? OR you need to start the process now to get them? Anyway, even if you have the PCC readily, I think better to wait untill they ask you. One more thing, I don't know whether they will assign the same visa office we requested for. It will be cleared for us only when we get the next AOR from the visa office. Any way, I will try to inquire about it with somebody and come back to you.
Honestely I don't have any idea of fees refund....sorry.
@ vkas:
When was your Credit Card charged exactly? It takes some times about one month to receive AOR after fees en-cashed. If you have provided correct email address it should come on your email only, otherwise they will send it to your address by regular postal service which may take upto 3 weeks for you to get it.
Yes, AOR and file number is one and the same.
@ Emperor:
That's excellent news...Congratulations my friend. I have updated the tracksheet. All the best for the rest of your journey towards Canada PR.
@ AnL:
I think you can take medical examination at any CIC panel physician. You can find a doctor at your area from this below link.

Yes, please wait for a couple days for your kids to get well then take all your medicals.
@ mhey:
Our guys are getting medicals approx in one week after getting AORs. As you have received your AOR on Jan 17, you might receive your MR anytime now.
These are the tests you need to take.
1. X-Ray
2. Blood Test
3. Urine Test
4. Blood Pressure, and all routine check-up.
Some tips regarding medicals.
1. Take printed medical forms with you (just have two copies each just in case if needed)
2. Five photos per person (same size specifications that we used for our application to CIO)
3. Be at the hospital at least 15 to 20 min earlier than your scheduled time just to get your blood pressure normal.
4. Take your photo ID (driver's license or passport or state ID)
5. If you are using any medications, take it to the doctor.
Thanks,
Sarayu.
