Hello All ,

I need more info on the issue below ..

For example say an applicant's VO is New Delhi or London and the VO sent you an MR but applicant is physically present in Canada or another country different from country VO ?
Can you have the medicals with any of the list panel physicians in that country ?...
Do you negotiate with the clinic to have ur medicals sent to your VO and pay extra fee for shipping or how does it work ???

Cheers

dear friends.

As you are an out side Canada applicant and moreover mode of fees payment was a bank draft, always there will be a little delay in receiving an AOR. However just comparing with the others who's applications were received on the same day as your's (Nov 26), I am expecting that you might receive your AOR by end of day Wednesday (Jan 23). Wish you good luck zizu... :) :) :)
Good news fellows;

Got my AOR today January 22, 2013 - yey!!! :)

Draft enashed on January 4, 2013.

Next step - waiting for medicals...

I have two question as well -

1. I have yet to send the police certificate - do I send it now to Visa Intake office in NS or my VO (that is London)??

2. I had applied in 2006 in FSW category, and then it got transferred to OPNP in 2012 and I had to send the application and fees again. Am just wondering what is the best way to get the refund on my application that I had filed in 2006? Any ideas?

Hello All,

The CIC took money from my credit card but they didn't send me any file number/AOR? Actually I provided my email id(I checked both inbox and spam folder). Do they send it via regular mail?

The file number or AOR is the same or different?

Thanks for any help.

Hi babakura.....first of all the medical requests does not come from your visa office, they come from DMP which is an office to send and receive medicals from where the results are then transferred to your visa office. The second thing is that you can have your medicals from anywhere in the world but only from the authorized panel physician of cic. Heres the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx. They wont ask for your visa office nor they will tell you anything and not even any sort of extra charging. All the medicals go to DMP and then they transfer it to your visa office. Its you just have to go and give your medical exam and not worry about the process. Its the doctor's duty and they do it accordingly.

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Received my AOR dated 21 January 2013 at 2.35 am GMT on 22 January 2013.

Sarayu, kindly update the track sheet.

Congratulations to all november applicants who got AOR & MR @ APPLEGUY & MFLICERIO HELLO.... Your MR will be next for sure. Any advice on the best clinic for medicals here in the phil? Cant have our medicals yet my kids have cough and colds....

hello, i would like to ask you "How long the Medical request it will come? weeks or months? for those who undergone medical what are those tests? :) :) :) thank u so much!!!! Godbless us!!

@ babakura:
I agree with Kavy Sandhu.

The physician will send the medical examination results to Immigration Health Services (IHS), who will create their report for the visa office. IHS will then forward the report to CPP-Ottawa. So, we don't have to worry about anything, the doctor office will be taking care of everything. This is what I was told by my representative.

@ Steffi80:
Congratulations on your AOR...I am very happy for you. Good luck for your MR and rest of the things. Looks like Atinsingh has already updated tracksheet.

@zizu:
Heyyyy Congratulations buddy...you got AOR earlier than I predicted....good to see that you got AOR.
Do you already have the Police Clearance Certificate? OR you need to start the process now to get them? Anyway, even if you have the PCC readily, I think better to wait untill they ask you. One more thing, I don't know whether they will assign the same visa office we requested for. It will be cleared for us only when we get the next AOR from the visa office. Any way, I will try to inquire about it with somebody and come back to you.

Honestely I don't have any idea of fees refund....sorry.

@vkas:
When was your Credit Card charged exactly? It takes some times about one month to receive AOR after fees en-cashed. If you have provided correct email address it should come on your email only, otherwise they will send it to your address by regular postal service which may take upto 3 weeks for you to get it.

Yes, AOR and file number is one and the same.

@ Emperor:
That's excellent news...Congratulations my friend. I have updated the tracksheet. All the best for the rest of your journey towards Canada PR.

@ AnL:
I think you can take medical examination at any CIC panel physician. You can find a doctor at your area from this below link.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

Yes, please wait for a couple days for your kids to get well then take all your medicals.

@ mhey:
Our guys are getting medicals approx in one week after getting AORs. As you have received your AOR on Jan 17, you might receive your MR anytime now.

These are the tests you need to take.
1. X-Ray
2. Blood Test
3. Urine Test
4. Blood Pressure, and all routine check-up.

Some tips regarding medicals.
1. Take printed medical forms with you (just have two copies each just in case if needed)
2. Five photos per person (same size specifications that we used for our application to CIO)
3. Be at the hospital at least 15 to 20 min earlier than your scheduled time just to get your blood pressure normal.
4. Take your photo ID (driver's license or passport or state ID)
5. If you are using any medications, take it to the doctor.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

@ SARAYU, THANKS A LOT. YOU'RE REALLY GREAT!

Guys its not 100% sure that I will get my file back. Bad luck :(, Now I am just desperately waiting for my file, so I can resubmit again.

Hi,

Congrats on your AOR and MR and your marriage. The fastest way to get her here is on a Temporary Resident Visa. You can then apply for an Open WP once she gets here.

Thanks
