My fellow NOVEMBER APPLICANTS i can now access my ECAS i just want to know if someone here knows the different status updates from update 1 to the last update of ECAS. thanks a lot!

Hi Khan78,

First of all I am sorry but I missed your post to reply.

So, this is the lesson for everyone here that if we are writing any official email, we HAVE TO provide our details as much as we can (Ex: First Name, Last Name,

Date of Birth, and if you have UCI Number, Application Number, Date of AOR/MR etc...) so that our Visa office or CIO can easily pull our file out.

Ok, coming to the point, better you send one more email with more details as soon as you can. And I suggest everyone, please create an email ID only for official purpose and never use it for any shopping or chatting with friends and all. That helps you protecting from any spam emails etc.

So, please mention clearly in your email that your gmail account is no more active and to update your hotmail ID on the system. Unfortunately, if your application was returned, you should get it max by end of this month. If that's the case I suggest you to re-apply again with paying Credit Card.

I am sure, you can re-apply without any issue as your nomination is valid till mid March. But the only concern is time....it's gonna delay for a couple of months. But, be patient Khan, everything will be alright. This is life and we need to accept whatever comes and lessons to be learned. I am telling you with my personal experiences. All the best.

My AOR has been recieved by mail not by Email.Actually CIC sent AOR to my Uncle's Address(Calgary).
He called me and told me Appliction Number,UCI number,Reciept Number.
According to My ECAS Status it is "Application Recieved" nothing else is written in it.
My Application was reached there at 14-Nov and AOR was sent on 12-Jan.

As I am in India when would I expect MR....?

Same here, from Manila too! Good to hear Manila applicants are hearing good news! Hope to get our MR soon as well!

As you are an out side Canada applicant and moreover mode of fees payment was a bank draft, always there will be a little delay in receiving an AOR. However just comparing with the others who's applications were received on the same day as your's (Nov 26), I am expecting that you might receive your AOR by end of day Wednesday (Jan 23). Wish you good luck zizu...

I am not in Alberta...I am in USA. So, unfortunately there is no CIC panel phycician available in my area where I am living. And it's not 200 km....but it's 200 miles (350 km approx.). As I have my appointment at 9:30 am, I am planning to drive there a day before itself.

Just a questions for you: Why was your AOR sent via post to your uncle's address? Is he your kind of representative? So, I think your MR should also goes to your uncle's address.

I have mentioned my email in form....
Now at my ECAS it shows my Uncle address as my current mailing address...
can I change that ?

zizu, you can't give +2 between 168 hours. if you try, you will get like below

they do the electronic fingerprints and photo and sent it to the rcmp right away.

Hi Davinder:
First of all I suggest you to change mode of communication from postal to EMAIL. That's the fastest way to be communicated.

And you said, your agent filled your forms. Agent means representative OR just helped you to fill the forms? If you don't have any representative, try to update your email address with CIO immediately so that you will get every communication directly without wasting time.

There is "Update this mailing address " in my ECAS page. Just take a look on your ECAS page and try that.
