hi sarayu,
i just wanna ask about the laboratory of the medical. do we have to do fasting before we do the blood test? and about the physical exam, what does the physical exam invlove?.

No fasting required. I had asked the doctor's office people at the time of appointment itself, they said, it's not required.

Medical exam involves X-Ray, Blood Test, Urine Test, general check-up (like blood pressure, height, weight etc.)

Hi Emperor,

I just divided this in to four different columns to give more idea to us. It might help us to track if somebody thinks that there is some delay happening in their case. I just modified one column as "Medical Reports Sent from Doctor to CIO" to avoid confusion.

As you mentioned, my question is that how are we supposed to know that when our doctor sent our reports to CIO and when CIO sent the report to our visa office because i dont think we get updates like these ?

Hi Kavy,

When we call the doctor's office to know the tracking number, at the same time we can ask them to know when were our reports shipped to Immigration Health Services.

I don't think CIO sends our medical reports to Visa Office. I believe that will get updated internally on their system....but I am not sure.

I just renamed column "U" as "Medicals Received at IHS" (IHS-Immigration Health Services). This we can know by tracking our package online.

Track sheet has been updated...and try to call doctor office after one week or so to get the tracking number.

Well, im still waiting for the MR or the VOAOR.. anyone could give me some directions on when should i be getting the VOAOR or the MR? btw, Sarayu, My VO would be Mexico City since everything from venezuela should be now processed there and transfered there too as well...

Hello guyz......PPRz continue to pour in !!!!! Another friend of mine who is a june'2012 applicant got his PPR today contradicting CIC's own timelines as provided by our friend a few days back. I think canada's immigration system is itself messed up. They simply are not being able to get outta it. With every new measure they are digging deep into it creating further problems and creating more backlogs. Now everything is purely on luck basis, one is getting through the whole process in 6 months and another one waiting for more than a year without any response. Even the AORs and MR are random without any proper sequence. God bless us and of course minister kenney :'(

september applicants see status: in process now.
i think everybody who applied before june (before cio) falls into the backlog, because of the file transfers.
hopefully everything works out smoothly for us. as far as i can see we are on good track!
