I am also heading to MB, Brandon to be exact, 2.20 hrs west of Winnipeg. Exciting times, as long as London VO are on the ball :'(

Winnipeg is small as compared to other capital cities in Canada ,... The weather is annoying cold and winter is longer (same as Alberta, Sask)
But since we going there to settle we have to make it fun


Was in winterpeg for last summer

Babakura, people do call it Winterpeg but watched so many videos on youtube of the various activities that makes winter fun. Ice-Skating, Fishing, etc are some of the events organised during those winter period to ensure all catch the fun and don't just stay in-doors.

Good to see as you guys are exploring about Wennipeg...How about Alberta?...in terms of weather, culture, living, housing, employment (I am a Mechanical Engineer)....any idea? any of you have been to Alberta? I have never been to Canada...eagerly waiting for that...

Alberta is awesome ..... As an Engr. there are heaps of opportunities due to the fact that Alberta is the focal point of Canada's energy industry and requires lots of Engr. to work on its numerous projects also head offices of most major energy companies are located in Calgary ...You wont be short of offers if you have industry experience ..
Alberta is the home of Engineers and tradespeople

If we use the numbers of days it took for MuhammadFahad to receive his MR from London VO for permutations & combinations, then DCCMJ should be receiving his MR in the week on March 4th to 8th, I (supa) should receive MR in week of March 11th to 15th and Khan78 should receive MR in the week of March 18th to 22nd.

We should be expecting a post from DCCMJ to confirm London VO is either sleeping or working.

This is a guess based on my trend analysis of this group and the AINP group.

Hey guys, hope everybody is doing well. I was very busy with my work and all....so was not able to be in contact here for a couple days.

My ECAS status is still "Application Received". I have finished my medicals on Jan 25th, but I still don't see any update on my ECAS.

Did you send your personal history details to CIO/VO? I have updated track sheet. Hey, please take a look at the track sheet and let me know your outstanding details....there are a couple field empty in your area.

I think IMM 5669 is the right form that you and your husband have to fill in and send it to VO. If your personal history is too leangthy, just make a word document just yourself and attach it to the IMM 5669, it should be fine.

Hey ninonhet, you are mistaken....the attachment means, there may not be a physical document attachment....but they provided you with four links where you have to go and download the exact form and get it done...just choose the correct form whichever suits for your case.

Please let me know if you haven't done this yet.

By the way, what is CEM?

"Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] " and it has to be singed by Oath Commissioner. I am married and have marriage certificate, is this common-law Union refers to marriage?

So May I need to fill this form despite having marriage certificate?

You don't need to fill "Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] " as you got already married and have a marriage certificate with you right now.
