zizu I think you are also Fsw Backlog applicant, just like fahad I know another applicant who also received MR after 40 days from LVO. So pray and hope for the best.
regards

@Khan78 @zizu

If we use the numbers of days it took for MuhammadFahad to receive his MR from London VO for permutations & combinations, then DCCMJ should be receiving his MR in the week on March 4th to 8th, I (supa) should receive MR in week of March 11th to 15th and Khan78 should receive MR in the week of March 18th to 22nd.

We should be expecting a post from DCCMJ to confirm London VO is either sleeping or working.

This is a guess based on my trend analysis of this group and the AINP group.

All the best

supa

Oh that is lovely. I know there is a strong Filipino community in Manitoba.

Probably will be landing the same day at James Armstrong International Airport in Winnipeg ;) ;) ;)

That's true. My family told me it's like just 'home' except for the weather :P
Yeah, exciting isn't it? We may not know but we might bump into each other in downtown winnipeg one day :D

Hi,

Yes great place, my family have been there 22 years, I have visited 24 times. People are very friendly and its a great place to bring up kids. House prices have been going up since 2007, so prices are quite high. As with the rental market, quite expensive. Life in general is a little more expensive than the UK, so you need to get a good job.

Winters are pretty long, but lots of shopping malls to walk round and eat nice food.

Lots of bars and night clubs in Winnipeg, not so many in Brandon. You will not be far from the US border, where you can visit for shopping trips, stuff in the US is much cheaper than Canada.

Regards

Andrew

I have heard that weather is very cold there. How can one enjoy in such a cold environ....and do u have any knowledge regarding health facilities available there?
Thanks again....

Andrew

Weather is really cold in the winter, -25 -35 sometimes. As I said you do not go outside other than to get in your car when the weather is very cold, as I said lots of big shopping malls that are inside, so the cold is not a problem. ;)

See ya all in Winnipeg .... Oh Sorry its actually called Winterpeg ...

Winnipeg is small as compared to other capital cities in Canada ,... The weather is annoying cold and winter is longer (same as Alberta, Sask)
But since we going there to settle we have to make it fun

Was in winterpeg for last summer

The weather is the challenge other than that it is a beautiful place to be. Was there during the exploratory visit in April 2012 and really like it. Went to the UofM (University of Manitoba) to attend a free presentation by an invited professor and was really amazed by the Bombers stadium that is upcoming.

Was also at the downtown and found it easy to navigate the area. Maybe we will be sitting next to each other shouting "Go Jet" "Go Jet" "Go Jet" "Go Jet" :P :P :P
