Congrats, so 3 of us landed on 9 Nov at different borders I believe. My ecas is updated with landing details and overall status says Complete. Good luck waiting for PR cards, the processing time is at all time low as of now - 43 days.

43-days processing time sounds pretty good.

I won't get mine until February 2014 or March 2014. I guess after X'mas and new year holidays, the processing time will definitely take longer.

I am NSNP . After landing to nova scotia and got PR . IS it possible to move to another Provence?

This topic comes up to me more often when I am about to complete my PNP process.

Just talked to my co-worker at lunch about an hour ago, he just done his landing with his wife on November 9 ,2013. He got PR through SINP. He said when he was doing landing, he signed a form saying that he has to stay in the Province for 3 full calendar years out of 5 after landing so that he could maintain his Permanent Resident VISA when it comes to the time to renew it. And he also double check with the officer. I think this is also the official answer to your question above.

(It is your choice to become Canadian citizen so that you won't have the same problem every five years. And this is my choice as well. :) )

What if you are absent for couple months? That's fine, you just need to maintain three full calendar years residency in the province nominated you.

What if your can't, I don't know the answer, you'd better not take the chance.

These information only apply to SINP. For other provinces, I don't know but I guess will be pretty similar. (I came from New Brunswick. Two years ago the friends I knew got the same problem and they had to move from Toronto back to NB to keep their PR, by the way, they got PR through entrepreneur PNP of NB couple years ago which were closed already, a typical failure of PNP program in NB)

Just check the consent form that you signed at landing to double check.

I pledged to keep away from arguing on move after PR but must say this is an excellent summary of 'What is expected and What should be followed' - Period. Thanks Westzhu, hope it guides people well.

Hey guys,

I was nominated in July 2013 under NS international graduates stream and submitted my application for PR within Canada and received AOR one month after submitting my application.
My ecas status changed to medical received in November 2013. Can anyone tell me the next step of the process.
Also, I did not submit my police certificate with application, do you think they will still request for it?

Thanks guys

Next step for you : request for police certificate and/or RPRF request, then in process

check our Feb Spreadsheet for reference.

Need advices in this case

I got nominated under Family Stream.

My supporter works at a large construction company registered in Ontario. The company has projects

throught Canada. At the time I was applying to MPNP the company was building Brandon Waste Water

Treatment Plant in Manitoba and my relative started to work there. After finishing that plant in

Manitoba they took a new project in Ontario, so all workers moved to that construction site in

Ontario for the time needed to finish the project.

Now, at a federal stage, I am requested a job reference letter from my relative and medical exam.
My relative's reference letter will show that he is working in Ontario now!!!!

The question is:

Can my application be refused in this case?
