Need advices in this case

I got nominated under Family Stream.

My supporter works at a large construction company registered in Ontario. The company has projects

throught Canada. At the time I was applying to MPNP the company was building Brandon Waste Water

Treatment Plant in Manitoba and my relative started to work there. After finishing that plant in

Manitoba they took a new project in Ontario, so all workers moved to that construction site in

Ontario for the time needed to finish the project.

Now, at a federal stage, I am requested a job reference letter from my relative and medical exam.
My relative's reference letter will show that he is working in Ontario now!!!!

The question is:

Can my application be refused in this case?
If you were nominated, that means you met the requirements unless MPNP would not give you the nomination.

If like you said, your current situation has been changed which might affect your PNP process, you'd better double check with MPNP, not us.

We can only give you some ideas for reference ONLY.

In you case, I got confused that your relative / sponsor who works at a Ontario registered company can support you to get the nomination from MPNP (Manitoba).

I don't know anything about the criteria of MPNP. What about yourself / your job offer (given by Manitoba registered company)?

I got mine PR through SINP, my job offer was given by a SK registered company and the job offer has to be approved before I apply for the nomination from SINP.

Congratulation everyone for getting ppr.

I am feb applicant and still in process.
I am worried that all of my friends either got their ppr or they already crossed border.
Even some people applied after me getting everything done.

Do you think I should contact with them or just wait for it?
Also, Can somebody tell me how to request notes?

Honestly, there is no harm in dropping them an email to check on progress. Contrary to what people say, my experience is that it does no harm at all!

I think that could be a better idea.
How long do they take to reply?

Below is the auto reply form cpp-o after I sent them my updated docutments - my son's birth certificate and passport scan.

The first one it took them a week to response then I sent out the second email with the documents they asked for, it took them a day to response.

This really depends on what your inquiries are,

"Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

· You notify us of a change in your marital status, the birth of a child, the death of a family member, or the withdrawal of your application

· You notify us of a change in your contact information

Finally managed to make a call to CIC @ 1-888-242-2100. :)

That was the fifteenth call that I made since 8am this morning and the only call that got through at about 11:15am. :(

Rest of them directed me to a period of 10-second music (holding/waiting) then dooooo dooooo doooooo, then "We experience high volume of calls bla bla bla..." (just an BS excuse, I got this message even though when I called after office hours ) then hung up automatically.

Last call I managed to get in a longer period of music (holding/waiting), took me about 30 minutes to wait 5 minutes talk then another 5 minutes holding for the representative to confirm. about 45 minutes to finish this phone call.

All I got was that local CIC office will contact me within a month to confirm the landing appointment time and date. :-X

Hopefully I can hear back from local CIC office soon.

If you could make the choice to go across the border, that's easiest way to get the landing done. (during the phone call the representative kept persuading me to go across the border )

My wife insisted not traveling long time with our baby (at least 10 hours back and forth) therefore I don't have a choice.

This post can be a reference for those who are not able to go across the border and wants to get the landing done locally.

Hope it helps.

Great info, thanks for sharing. I am sure you would have browsed all possible options before taking the CIC route, just a thought - do you have the option of leaving the baby at your relative or friends place ? Since the baby is already a Canadian Citizen, need not travel with you but I can also understand that the baby is too small to be left as of now.
Good luck!
