Hi Lovely1124,

Maybe you mean received by CIO, April 5, 2013. You should join the thread for April CIO started by Movado. I also joined that thread instead of March tracking.

Below is the link for the thread.

Answers from the forums I asked about the question, "Is it indicated in our AOR CIO the Visa Office who will process our application?"

"Any future correspondence should be sent to the visa office as indicated on your application"
No specific indication of the Visa Office.

One member who is currently residing in Singapore decided to email CIO,CEM and SGVO to inquire about his AOR VO. He felt that it's been a long time already after his AOR CIO was received and that time he should be receiving his AOR CEM (VO of choice) & MR. The next day, he received an email from SGVO stating that his papers is still in-transit from CIO to Singapore Office. He knows for a fact that in Singapore the processing time is 20 months against the Philippines which is only 11 mos. So, he wrote them a letter requesting a transfer to CEM as originally requested and luckily SGVO replied soon. They have granted his request under the basis of R11 rules. This is the link http://www.cicnews.com/2011/01/understanding-r11-visa-office-submit-application-canadian-permanent-residency-01826.html. Last Wednesday he received his MR from CEM and notification from SGVO that his papers have been transferred and received by Manila Office.

The other member's choice of VO is also CEM and since he is working in Qatar his application was forwarded to ABuDhabi Visa Office (ADVO). He received his AOR CIO last year June and until now no AOR from ADVO and MR yet.

Hi Tweety05, i am just a little bit perplexed with your above post. To give you a brief info, i have received my AOR from CIO last 28.02.2013 where i initially submitted my application in SGVO. I am one of the FSW backlog reduction pilot applicant under BC PNP. With my application being sent to CIO, i have chosen CEM as VO to process my application. Thus, i am expecting to receive an MR from CEM, however, it was the other day when i received an email from CIO that my file has been forwarded to SGVO. Do you think it wont jeopardize my application if i would request for my application to transfer to CEM?

Thank you and hope you could enlighten me with my concern. God bless!

We were given the right by CIC to choose the Visa Office that will process our PRV application, so, I think it will not jeopardize your application once you request them to transfer it to CEM. Anyway, initially, you chose CEM but to whatever valid reason they may have it was forwarded then to SGVO.

I have read posts having the same problem as yours but SGVO managed to transfer it to CEM. I would advice you to join this group, http://www.facebook.com/groups/205894332754244/ , just recently they are talking about the steps to transfer the file from SGVO to CEM.

Good luck
