Have my test on the 2nd September 2015.

Applied early June.

Congrats, Brandon. Why don't you add your info to the June tracker? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1s4ma196-8R88nZaL2H2dUjvSEB5JxDRweicC54RayzE/

It's look like that Toronto and Mississauga offices are very slow I checked March spreadsheet and still the applicants from Toronto or Mississauga waiting for test date it's been 6 months and still going.

Hi everyone,

New to this forum. Just wanted to share my timeline.

Congratulations. Don't forget to have the google sheet updated.

Congrats to the first applicant to get a test date from the June 2015 group!

It might be that BrandonP did not update the dates of the steps in between (In Process and File Transfer). But is it also possible that an applicant can get a test date directly without a file transfer to local office?

BrandonP if you can respond and update the google tracker sheet it would be wonderful. Maybe it his case was very straightforward (not many travel stamps or never left Canada after landing, in one city/address for many years) and that is why it was a very quick response from CIC. It could also be the "Vancouver Factor". All 5 folks in the May 2015 group who got test invites are from Vancouver. Humm...too late to move to Vancouver now :)

:) I agree! If we move now, that's another factor in the application.
Glad for BrandonP, hope to hear more info on this.

Seems CIC no longer provides application status/update to applicants over the phone anymore. I spoke with different agents today with the hope of knowing if my application has been delivered to the local office, but NON of them even took the time to ask about the application details etc.

Hopefully the ECAS will henceforth provide a meaningful feedback.

Same here, today I tried to know any information through CIC call Center but they weren't helpful at all.

1++ The agent told me that henceforth applicants will be directed to ECAS for any information relating to their application.

It might be a new policy which has been communicated to CIC call centers not to provide any updates for people checking in on application status unless they have passed the formal time frames. In my personal opinion the Call Center is never always accurate in updates as is and should only be reached for issues or changes in your situation. You all can always order an ATIP which has been my best tool to understand the process with my file at least.
