Does Vancouver office go through all the steps that comes in ATIP or not ? it seems it doesn't or no one will be invited that fast to the test, I don't know it is really confusing.

Wahoo. So you still haven't received your AOR and you are absolutely sure that it was received at the right department for processing? I will advise you to keep contacting CIC. Somethings seem to be wrong somewhere.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask - I'm new to this forum - if it's not, apologies in advance.

I'm not sure how many kinds of different citizenship applications there are but I'm applying for a citizenship certificate under the 2009 Act since both of my parents are native Canadians and I was wondering if anyone knows the approx waiting time on those? (Sydney, NS office if it makes a difference). I'm planning on mailing my application tomorrow but I didn't see an August 2015 thread so I figured I'd ask here.

Also does anyone know if I'd be required to do the tests/oaths/etc or am I exempt from those since I'm a quasi-citizen already?

Just checked my status on ECAS and glad to inform that my file is now "In Process" since August 25, 2015..
I see that some people are getting their test dates as well.. which is pretty good thing to know..! I hope to be in the process of file transfer soon..

- once we receive the AOR and the file is "In process"; can CIC still return back the file/application.

has this happened to anyone? If this is going fast enough would you think by Q1 2016 we can have oath?

I applied citizenship in 17th june 2015.I got letter for test and interview on 21st sept.I am living in canada from 2003.I never travelled outside canada.I am living in same address from 2003.But from last 4 to 5 years.I am selfemployed or cash worker.I filed my all taxes.I just want to know which document i can show cic officer for my employment or any other documents please give your advice thank u

Can anyone please update me in the Timeline.

Between as per ur suggestion Ojeola , I called CIC this morning but they said small Chances for File No and potentially application will return to u with explanation letter. I was fingers crossed but luckily I got AoR this afyernoon

The answer is NO. Once they commence the application process they can ONLY ask for addtional documents. However, if at the final stage they presume that an applicant is short on physical days requirement then they might denial the application.
