What does mean final decision is made and your application was approved. When do they make this decision? On visa stamped date?

this mean decision has been taken and in your case it is approved , now you will get request to submit passport (if apply online) and if paper based than depend on you submitted your passport with application or not.
In both case you need to submit passport because your case is approved

I know the case was approved on Dec 15 and they requested pp which were submitted on Dec 24. But then sent an email regarding status updated on Dec 31.

"If you are a resident of Pakistan or Afghanistan submitting your application through visa application centres in Islamabad, Lahore or Karachi, please submit a copy of your current and previous passports including the biographic information page, and all pages that are not blank."

This is written in the form for applying visitor visa.
In case of my parents this will be a lot of pages and a lot of passports (10 total)
Is there any limit to this? (eg. last 10 years or something like that?)

There are no entry stamps as Canada doesnt stamp passport at entry or exit anymore. Old canadian visa is there. How to satisfy this requirement?

Hi Guys,

I just created an account in CIC for my friend. I just have confusion regarding their requirements for the tourist visa. The following are the requirements:

1. TRAVEL HISTORY - Did you just scan the previous and recent passports with entry and exit stamp from different countries you had travelled? Do we still need to create a list of travel history for this?

2. DIGITAL PHOTO - Do we still need to upload a photo when we are already paying for the biometrics fee which is worth $85? I am just confused about this, as we have to pay for the biometrics fee.

3. PURPOSE OF TRAVEL - Is this where my friend's letter to the embassy will be uploaded together with the travel itineraries?

4. PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP - I am really confused on this part, I really thought that the invitation letter is enough as proof of relationship. I don't know what information I need to put in this section. Do I need to write another letter? What should information should I provide? I am only inviting a friend to come here to Canada.

I really need your input in these sections guys.

I have received a request from CIC in my account. Main part of the message is as below:

"I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act which states:
16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonable requires.
Specifically, I am not satisfied that the employment letter submitted in support of your application is genuine."

I have resubmitted my employement letter with my business card, job ID card and last payslip. I have also shared contact details of my HR Manager for them to confirm my employment.

Anyone knows how long till I get a decision or response on this. Is what I shared is sufficient?

This mean they are not satisfying about the job letter you submitted with your visa application, you need to provide proper evidence about this documents.

my question is how long you are working with your last employer ?
