Thank you, I am going to the regional police office for criminal record checks for my parents. I will ask them if they can provide us with fingerprints. I am little doubtful though, as they do fingerprinting digitally.poison said:I did a similar thing from India when it was required for me to send my fingerprints to Australian Federal Police in order to get a PCC from Australia. Probably you can try a similar approach here in Canada:
1. Contact local jurisdiction - may be Ontario Police if you live in GTA or RCMP if you live somewhere else.
2. Show them the communication from CIC and ask them that you have to send fingerprints to NDVO.
3. They will take your fingerprints and certify it officially by a stamp.
4. I would also recommend you take an envelope with you. Once you paper is ready, put it inside and request police to seal it with a stamp. This will make it firm.
5. Send that to NDVO.
