Basically the title. My application was received on Jan 11 but when I go to check the status online, it says it can't find the application. I know it doesn't update until they start the processing but it's been like 3 weeks. Does anyone know how long before the online status is updated?

As far I know you don't nee to submit PCC from Canada. They will do Canadian check as a part of the background check, I believe.

Actually they ask for RPRF before BC now, well at least in my case they did. I submitted RPRF along with PCC & Meds in November while Background check started in december. I got the PPR in second week of Jan.

Alright. I think the proof of funds is not for PGP. Like you said we sponsor the parents and we have already sent the proof that we can support them. But, I will dig around a bit and see if I can find anything else. Thanks. Please tell me you are just trolling :D

Umm....can you point me to more info about this? My parents will be landing in couple of months but they are not bringing anything major with them. We will still have the house back in my home country. Do they need to bring in any proof of funds or something?

Submitted the passport on Jan-20. I checked the status today and it says that passports have been stamped and sent back to VFS Global. They will be ready for pick up.

PPR already stamped. Submitted medical in October and PCC on 7th November. Status changes to 'Background check in progress' in early december and got PPR few days back. I have the timeline in the spreadsheet.

Got an email from CIC yesterday saying my MyCIC account was updated. I checked and it said 'Final Decision: This Application has been approved' All the best for everyone who is waiting for the next step. Sooner or later, it will be your turn :).

I was not asked to fill Appendix B. Just instructions on how and where to submit the passport.
