I did a similar thing from India when it was required for me to send my fingerprints to Australian Federal Police in order to get a PCC from Australia. Probably you can try a similar approach here in Canada:
1. Contact local jurisdiction - may be Ontario Police if you live in GTA or RCMP if you live somewhere else.
2. Show them the communication from CIC and ask them that you have to send fingerprints to NDVO.
3. They will take your fingerprints and certify it officially by a stamp.
4. I would also recommend you take an envelope with you. Once you paper is ready, put it inside and request police to seal it with a stamp. This will make it firm.
5. Send that to NDVO.

Hope it helps.
Thank you, I am going to the regional police office for criminal record checks for my parents. I will ask them if they can provide us with fingerprints. I am little doubtful though, as they do fingerprinting digitally.

It is difficult to say from where to obtain finger prints from Canada. I can say following two assumptions which may not work but I thout I should say:(1)While obtaining Aadhar card finger print is taken. You may send Aadhar Card and request them to obtain from Aadhar Card Authorities. (2) Another I can suggest is print your fingerprints on a PAPER from stamp pad and send it to NDVO. I again tell you this may or may not work but when there is no scope or option available this is worth trying.
Thanks for the advice, I believe there are accredited agencies/companies that can do fingerprinting. If it does not work out with the regional police office tomorrow, will try that.
I am surprised that nobody on this forum has already gone through this process, as people have already received PPRs and PR visas.

Here is my suggestion :

1) refer to RCMP website which I assume you have to as you will need PCC/ Securirty checks. RCMP takes fingerprints for checks. This should resolve your question regarding PCC in canada.
2) you can either request RCMP for the fingerprints (with acknowledgement email from CIC) by indicating requirements from CIC and send it to New Delhi as your parents are in Canada right now. I am certain that they will help you out.
Thanks, that's exactly what I am doing tomorrow :)

Try to call them and tell your situation. I spoke with them couple of months ago and they are very helpful.I am not 100% sure but you can try.I can't post the link but search on google, they have their websites.
Got it, thanks :)

Foreign travel form was simply a word document with a table where they asked for all foreign travel destinations, dates and purpose of travel. They've asked to send these to NDVO

Thanks.

What is the address of NDVO where you sent it?

Hi everyone- I was trying to find answers through previous posts but was unable to; my parents need to go through medical exam. Can someone whose parents have already gone through medicals- what exactly tests are done and what previous medical conditions could pose a problem and what conditions are fine i.e. heart, diabetes etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

NOT A PROBLEM.. Unless it is something serious. If your father is stable with maintenance and it is okay then no problem. My father as well is diabetic and we already did his medical exam.. The doctor said that it is not a problem.. Don't worry.!!! Worry about the place you will bring your father when he got his PR.. :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Good luck and God Bless to you

thank you :) :D

My ecas changed for Decision made. Last requested document has been provided on Dec 15th.
Does it mean that we should expect passport request soon?

I just checked and my ECAS also says 'Decision Made' though inside MyCIC account, it still says 'Final Decision' - Not started. Fingers crossed.

I check both at the same time. I have heard about un-synced updates between ECAS and MyCIC. I checked yesterday and none said 'Decision made'. So it happened overnight.

Tried to link application to MyCIC, and it could not find it
