folks
Canada process seems unprofessional but canada itself is a great country like the US or Aus or UK
if we shift our base to any other country can they transfer the file to the local visa offices?
if i shift to the US can they transfer files to buffalo visa office
Any idea from previous experiences

If you transfer from usa it will take atleast 23 month and trust me NDVO is much faster then the usa.

is there a provision to transfer the canada PR files to US

No there is no provision to transfer file as it negatively influence program integrity. To illustrate, if I want to transfer my file back to CPP-O, CIC will not do it so I have to submit my passport and other documents to New Delhi or concerned Visa Office only.

MB

There are multiple reasons why NDVO has slowed down.

1. Buffalo Applicants and CIC's commitment deadline.

2. NDVO's own backlog of PNP files.

3. Thorough background check of certain ethnic groups and higher quantities of fraudlent cases from India.

4. Smaller quota compared to Philippines and other countries.

5. Current Strike (may continue upto a month)

Looks like NDVO/Columbo is clearing files in lots. That's why No one has received AOR after April. So all those who have received AOR but not medical will have to wait till the first lot is cleared, including me. We will most likely be in the second lot and they may start working on our files in next 100 days or so.

So plz keep patience.

Kish dont expect an easy life in Canada. I've been here for nearly 3 years. If you are landing in SK, the weather alone is enough to terrify you. For you, I suggest try for Australia.

For those who have contacts in Canada better order GCMS notes that should answer most of your questions.

Don't you think this process shall create caos to ndvo as they have to request every doc again.

You misunderstood what I said. They have all our files but the wont start working on them right away. The will take few files, review them and send aor & additional document request. Once they make a decision on these files they will take another lot.

Thats most likely the reason for delay. Otherwise in the past they used to send AOR within 3 months from first AOR.

They are basically trying to catch up with the files and thats why they involved Columbo VO to help them. CPP-O did the same in the past. For few months they nearly stopped sending PPR.

Ok , you mean to say they shall complete all the visa formalities of the applicants who got their 2nd aor's and after that they shall start processing our files .

hello,,
Cant understand it,,, please elaborate....
I had submit my pp again for 2 time as they returned asking us to generate new pp for my 3 year old daughter then only they can issue pr visa. Is that means that 2nd time it won't take much time for stamping. Or still have to wait for couple of months...

One thing is sure.. the Feb and March applicants wnt receive aors for at least 2 months now

I have enquired from chandigarh office...there is no strike as per them in chandigarh and delhi for immigration officers

Though it may get affected as whole system is centralised. I mean no PR visa issue happening. Only document checking or filing business may happen.
