Yup po ininclude ko po sya sa application na isinubmit sa CiC but me gap na dun sa date ng after ng schooling ko and yun time na nag work ako, so pina clarify lng nila if anu yun ginagawa ko from time ng after nag school up to yun date before ako nag work, saka if san ako nag stay pinalagay yun adresses na tinarahan ko..

Hi GenalinValdez,

Thank you very much for the well wishes and for the info...

From your posted timeline, I can see that CEM requested for the additional document (personal history) after 9 days from meds done ...

Medical done : Jan 5 2015
Additional document request: jan 14 2015

Aside from the CEM email, may I know please, did the additional document request (personal history) also appear in your ECAS?

... Good luck to all of us ...

Ano palang payment option ginamit nyo nong una? So it cost you some 1-2 months dahil sa wrong form of payment?
At that time pwede pa option 1 - pay at a financial institution in Canada. So inulit ko lang yun, and filled up the form I requested and enclosed the receipt and the form with the resubmission.

Nope - not 1-2 months added to processing, actually CIO pa lang - yung initial submission, ibinalik ang application package ko within 2 weeks of submission. Mabilis pa at that time (circa 2011) and since nasa NS din naman ako - madali lang ang return ng mail from Sydney - same province lang.

Hi All,

Current status ko po is waiting sa MR. Question po especially sa mga tapos na sa medical.
Mag kaka issue po ba sa medical if ever yung cholesterol level and uric acid ng dependent ko is above normal range? Now lng po nmin nalaman kasi nag pa blood test kami kanina to check that prior ng medical talaga namin.

Thank you po and Good luck to everyone! :)

Hi idiana,

I'm not a doctor, but there's a high probability that it will be an issue with the medicals...
Seek medical help ASAP to lower down the abnormal levels.
It is advisable to be at the best health possible during the medical examination. This is primarily to avoid medical furtherance (e.g. additional tests, medical prescription) which not only further add to the expense, but also affects our timeline since more often than not, these are re-scheduled at a later date.

... Good luck to all of us ...

Hello Go North,
Any idea if we still have to send and inform CIC of our new passport details as we have just renew last month and how?
I already received our AOR yesterday.
Thanks.

Hello po! Tanong ko lang if ever maka land na ng Canada, ilang days po ba na pwede ng lumabas ng Canada and ilang months po ang allowed na nasa outside ng Canada? Thank you sa sasagot!

Hi jaypee1023,

I'm thinking of sending them the new passports along with the photocopies of the old passports and an explanation letter when I receive the PPR...

... Although, I have no idea if that will be an issue with their background checks before the PPR ...will they check DFA database and see that we have new passport #s ? ? ?

... Seniors, please help us ....

As far s I know, CIC will specifically require that the passports are valid at least within 6 months upon submission...
Surely CIC will see (and read the supporting explanation letter) the photocopies of the expiring old passports and hence, the submission of new passports ....

... Good luck to all of us ...

FYI, Manila VO requested for 12 months passport validity from my relatives last month. I noticed it depends from VO to VO, others require just 6 months.

No need to send old passports when you get the PPR, you can only send the new passports, as I have been advised also by another member here who got their visa stamped in the new passport with no issues. So my relatives only sent their new passports at VFS, we didn't send CEM any email with the new passport details.

Sir Ragluf,

Thank you so much for answering my queries, sobrang liwanag ng paliwanag hehehe...

Anyway po, regarding sa PCC since we are not allowed to get PCC without the COC from CIC, I will attach a letter na lang stating that I will submit the PCC from SG once they send me the COC. Since hindi pasok sa 5- 10 yrs yung aking residency sa SG (and di ko naman sya maideclare sa forms), I thought na mas magandang I inform na lang thru this letter na I will submit my PCC once na meron na akong request from them.

Thanks po again! :)

You can send them the new PPs and just a quick note explaining the change in the PPs in response to a PPR. Anyway, CEM will send you out a form (Appendix A), where you can enter the details of the new PP.

No issues on background checks with new PPs - as long as you did not have any issues in any other country you have visited or resided in the past :).

You can use an update of informing CEM of the new details of your PP - if things are getting long in the process - use this information as an 'update' on your application and hopefully call attention to your application processing.

Kung naka-land ka na, well granted ka na ng PR. So no need any visa, and walang limit in terms of allowed number of days outside of Canada.

As to lalabas ka agad, note lang, granting PR to you does not mean automatic no-visa ka na.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/

Hindi advisable ipadala ang PR card via courier - in my view - marami pwede mangyari.

As to how many days ka sa labas ng Canada - no limit ika nga, pero kung balak mo mag-renew or mag apply ng citizenship later, me number of days na kailangan nasa loob ka ng Canada - so be mindful hindi ka nag-over-extend na hindi ka na magiging eligible sa renewal or applying for citizenship. Also, ang mga provincial medical health boards, me mga policies na kapag matagal wala sa bansa ang resident/citizen, nag-la-lapse ang health insurance coverage, so check your health insurance provider sa limits nila.

Hi sir ragluf good day,

I am waiting for my PPR this time, but my IELTS validity is going to expire this coming April 24.. My question is, could this affect to my current status? I mean is this expired IELTS maybe a cause of pending of my application?
