I asked them at the ADR how long it would take. They said once it arrives in delhi it will be 6 to 8 weeks before my husband hears from them. I dont know what the delay is or why it takes so long. But first if you went through ADR you will have a letter of agreement between the sponsor and the ministers councel stating why they are allowing the appeal, your spouse had to sign it at the meeting. then they take the letter of agreement and it goes before a tribunal and signed and sealed, then ( you will get a certified true copy) your file goes to Ottawa and they send it back to the visa office for processing by diplomatic mail. How long it takes for it to leave Ottawa I have no idea. I have heard it depends on the visa office. I have been trying to find out things to so I can get some idea how long this is all going to take, but it appears that every case is handling a bit differently when it comes to processing time. So its anyones guess.

No word from Delhi yet but I called CIC to check the status of our file. They told me that our file has been in New Delhi since April 13th. So now its up to the visa office. I hope it doesnt take much longer the stress is getting to us.

actually now problem is i am in india and if i want to change the address could you please tell me how to do that?i want all correspondence to my wife in canada. because our lawyer said once case is won his duty is finished. now if we ask him for any more help he will charge us extra.

so if you have any idea will you please let me know? also any update on ur case. any news from cic new delhi regarding ur file.

its more waiting.

If you want to change your address you have to write the new address and sign it and fax it to delhi. My husband address changed and thats what I was told by delhi. You cant use ecas because your file number will change so until you hear from the visa office you wont know if they are even looking at your file. You can call the call centre but they can not tell you much. They can only tell you if your file is at the visa office and I am not 100% sure they are accurate on that from my experience. I was told that after winning an appeal and dealing with delhi office it will take 3 to 4 months before you hear from them and I got that information from my local Member of Parliment office. This is the only way I can get any information until my husband gets a letter from delhi with instructions on new medical and PCC. Good luck and just be patient casue its a waiting game.

god knows how long they will take?

wish you all the best for your application i hope you will get your passport soon with visa.

i hope your process going well.

could you please tell me that regarding pcc do they need oour whole family pcc? or just my self because application is just mine and when we apply for pr they just ask my pcc not my family pcc?

could you please tell me do they need whole family pcc or just our self?

My husband is the only one on the application so he only had to have the PCC for himself and just recently he had to redo it and it was just for him.

Our process is not going badly, it was hard to get the PCC but we have it and all documents were sent in before the deadline was up. We are just now waiting to get the request for new medical which we have yet to get. Hoping it doesnt take much longer.

Did you receive the forms and request for new PCC yet? We received the letter on June25th. We had 60days to get the forms filled and the PCC sent into Delhi.

i actually have not heard anything from chc-London yet. but when i was checking my ecas on monday my previous record suddenly vanished.

even though when we check by my wife clicnt id its just show only her citizenship status not mine pr file status. so i just dont know what the hell they r doing with m file? my appeal approve in may and file transfer by may21st to london.

is it compulsory for them to give us new pcc and all those form formality again?

anyways wish you all the best and hope u will get ur ppr request soon.
