timeline for chc-london after appeal allowed

It took two months for them to start working on our case again once the file arrived in Delhi. So I am pretty sure it will take atleast 6 -8 weeks IF there is no back log. Our case was won in March and so it was June 11th before they started reprocessing us. In the letter my husband received requesting a new PCC they also gave us a new file number. Its certain that they will ask for a new PCC they are only good for 3- 6 months I believe so it will be asked. You will have to redo the applicant forms over again and redo your medical. It has to be done to update your file. Its a pain but its how it is. Its wait, wait and more wait.

i hope your process going smooth. i have one question regarding ecas.

before one week when my wife checked my ecas status it has changed to IN PROCESS now but date remains same when they actually started process in 2008.

so do you have any idea about this? does it mean that they have started my process i am also quite confusing about this.

how about you? any news from your side.

It will say the in process date until there is something new added to your file, such as medial recieved. Our case has been in process since June 11th 2010 and have send in updated documents but its not put on ecas. We now have to send in new medicals.

that means i can feel that my file is processing now. i was just confusing about date because its showing 2008 not 2010.

I was told that when there is an appeal there is alot of admin work. I dont know how true that is but all I know is they take their good old time. Hang in there you won the appeal and its in process.

i have finally got something from chc-london. they sent me update imm forms, redo medical,and pcc request for london. they have started my case processing on 13th august. they have also given timeline for 60 days that within 60days i must send them all require document.

so now i am preparing all document.

how about you? where your procedure reach till now? any news about ppr? anyways keep in touch and wish u all the best i hope soon u will get ur passport request.

Hi thats great, it feels good to know that something is moving on your file. We have already sent in the new PCC and documents. We got the request for new medical on Aug 21 and they gave us 45 days for that. My husband did it yesterday and the dr said that the medical will be sent to delhi on the 30th of Aug and it should reach delhi by the 1 or 2nd of Sept. Now its just wait for the passport request. Do you happen to know if once you send in your new pcc and application update if they start the security checks? Since our case is appealed I just kind of wondered how that goes. I have read that appealed cases get priority so thats why I was kind of wondering things.

i hope your process going well. could you please tell me how much does it cost for medical because when i did it in london it was 300pound but i am not sure about india. and how long do they take to prepare medical report to send high commission? because i have to tell them to send chc-london .

I think my husband said he had to pay 2600 rupee. He went on the 24 of august and had the medical done, the dr said that the report would be sent to delhi on the 30th of August and would reach delhi on the 31st or Aug or the 1 of sept.

actually one of my friend got second interview from chc-newdelhi after winning full hearing new medical and pcc also.

i am really afraid i just dont knw what they are doing with spousal application? its really they dont think how much trouble for husband wife being far from each other.

a second interview? Did they win it and finally get approved for visa? Do they know what the reason for the interview was? well I do know that they can reject on different grounds. Meaning they can reject you again but not for the same reasons. So in our case they didnt believe we were in a genuine relationship that was the only problem, but it was over ruled so now I was told they can not reject us again on those grounds. I dont know what else they can deny us over, we have done everything they asked for. This is such a pitiful system. If he is asked for another interview, I dont know if I can survive it.

yes they won full hearing in feb this year then in april he did medical,new pcc and update imm forms. i am also quite confused why this people doing like this? do you have any idea after appeal allow what else do they do with our file?because our case also refused on genuine marriage and also officer asked me some question regarding my study I.T field but i couldnt answer because on interview day i was in so much stress.because as far i know there is nothing related to this case when we apply for pr file if we apply for student visa then they can ask question like this but stupid officer ask me that question too.

wow I cant beleive that they had another interview. I was resting easy thinking this was just a matter of getting the paper work done after the appeal and issuing a visa. My husband was also very stressed and had a hard time thinking in english and so his mind went blank on a few questions. But the visa officer said as soon as she walked in the room that she didnt believe our marriage was not real so that really compounded the stress on my husband.

Well I know they do security checks and then they ask for the passport and they review the file and then issue the visa. I am not sure which order it goes but there is a final review and then they issue the visa.

I hope to God that we dont have to go through the interview process again. Did your friend get his visa yet? After the interview was he approved? Keep me posted

i just got to know from my friend got letter from chc they have schedule 2nd interview in october 1st week so lets see. i am also worry about my case that why do they need 2nd interview after winning full or adr hearings.

do you have any idea how long do they take for background checking? and do they compare last application forms and this new forms too?

wow I am worried. I think it takes 30 days, but not sure, longer if you have live for 6 months in other countries. I thought that once you won your appeal that they just continued the process, thats what I was told. They (to my knowledge) just use the same file but with your updated forms. I know this because I had emailed Delhi after we won our appeal and they told me that they were awaiting the original file to be sent to them along with the letter stating we won. I had talked to several people and they said that there wouldnt be a second interview that they dont do that. I read on the bottom of the letter that I had gotten a copy of that there are 30 days for objections to this allowing of the appeal. I had contacted my MP and they told me that there is no interveiw just doing administrative work and not to worry cause this was a done deal. I really now am worried cause like you, we had to go through alot to get to this point. We won by ADR but I am like you.. extremely worried I thought this was going to be over with soon.
