Really good to see some June progress!!! 8)

We sent ours to london from vancouver island on June 7 /2011 via Fed EX they recieved it in London on June 9/2011 they stamped it on June 20/2011 and we recieved it by sign for mail on July 15/2011 so i think you might have 20 days or so to wait we did have the postal strike at the time so you might get yours even faster but they say allow 6 weeks and ours was exactly 5 weeks from the day they recieved it in London!! Good Luck its a great feeling :)

Thanks! I don't think you should be worried... just semantics really...I guess for us it's yet another waiting game. I'm sure the letter will contain good news for both of us. :)

Hi! We got an email this morning from London requesting my passport!

After sending our application for the CSQ in May that was approved on June 10th, but with the postal strike we did not receive the actual CSQ. Last week after calling Quebec Immigration they agreed to fax their approval to London and then this morning Decision Made on ECAS and an email requesting passport! Such a relief! Wasn't expecting it so soon, as I was under the impression they wouldn't proceed with the application in London until recieveing the CSQ but I guess work was done on it and they were just waiting for the CSQ! Anyways, thanks for the help!

One question that popped into my head today was since I am in Canada already on a visitor visa, is my only option to flagpole or can you land somewhere else? And which is the better option?

You can land at an office, bookings are made vis the main call centre.

Take a trip to the USA, stay over 48 hours and do some shopping....

or just flagpole :)

There is a strange line of text in the body of the email I received from London, which has the letter attached. The email body says :

Your application has reached the final stage of processing. Please follow the instructions in the attached letter carefully. Your file number is indicated in the subject line of this email. It is a 'F' followed by 9 digits.

Unless your passport or the passport of one of your accompanying family members (if any) expires on an earlier date, your permanent resident visa(s) will all expire on 2011/12/15.

The part in bold makes no sense at all to me, the attached letter says "Submit your passport(s), photos and information chart within 45 days of the date of this letter". Initially I thought the text in the email was saying the send the passport before that date to receive your PR but then the letter says 45 days so now I have no idea what that means!
