OMG! That is downright rotten!AfShe said:Hi everyone,
I have an update. I received this email from the london office today:
Good afternoon,
The medical examination results have been received and assessed.
We are in the process of completing the required background checks and will proceed towards finalising the application when this process has been completed.
Regards,
CDD
seriously? almost 10 months now and they still haven't completed the background checks ???
Has anyone received something similar in the email from the london office?
I emailed them this monday, April 29 and got a reply this afternoonblueboom said:Did anyone email London in the last two weeks? How long did it take for them to respond to you?

you're a test case for things that can happen - and it still goes well at the end! that's good to know!blueboom said:Thank you for all your help and encouragement! It made a big difference.
It's going to be (hopefully) fast and (certainly) expensive. We are sending his passport with an authorized person to the UK to submit it on his behalf since 30 days isn't enough time to apply for a UK visitor visa for my husband.
Well, at least if anyone is in this situation in the future, I've already been the test case for a UK visa expiring before processing, DM before PPR and no home address on ECAS, AND not being able to mail a passport from India to the UK!
Congratulations!!!! Hope it all goes well for youblueboom said:We got PPR. I'm pleasantly surprised. I just hope they don't sit on it for months.
Way to scare me, ECAS!
They only gave us 30 days to submit the passport. Ha. ha. ha.
Thank you!scottishmaple said:Congratulations!!!! Hope it all goes well for you
