That is the expiry date you normally get.

Except if your passport (or any of your accompanying family members passports) expires earlier.

Just a question about the self addressed envelope you include with the passport. When they send it back is it just regular mail or do they use some registered post? I am in Canada on a visitor visa at the moment.

Mine was sent with registered mail. I had to go pick it up from the post office in Canada and sign for it. (Because I wasnt home when they delivered the mail).

Does anybody know if ECAS is likely to change again after decision made (I say this, but I know ECAS is likely never to change in half the cases!)

Just wondering if they ever update it when they've stamped the passport and posted it?

Not immediately after DM, but there is an update after you land.

Ahh great thanks.

I'm finding waiting for my passport to be returned more stressful that waiting for PPR! Only because I want to book flights to visit home at a reasonable price though haha! I'm constantly watching the different airlines. I wonder what I will do with my time when this is all over.... Find something else to worry about I imagine!

Haha I did my citizenship calculator the other day. I think I am eligible in February 2014... so long as I don't leave Canada again, which I am sure I will.
Will probably be mid 2014 before I can apply.... seems so far away!
