Cambridge_Quebec spreadsheet updated, what do you mean by your file is being transferred to Ottawa? You already have a DM and you are just waiting for your COPR.

Also do you mean they requested scans of your passport pages?

My wife is Iranian so she needs a visa. The letter says : "This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application is now ready for finalization. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE PROCEEDING. FURTHER. YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE FINALIZED BY THE CASE PROCESSING CENTRE – OTTAWA (“CPC-O”)."

Is she in Canada now?

We got PPR on Nov 2nd and ours stayed in LVO (and I am not complaining)

Oh okay, on the spreadsheet you are not down as non-visa exempt. Thanks.

Spreadsheet updated ppots, congrats.

Yes congratulations all those who have had decision made. Not wanting to sound like sour grapes but I'm still waiting however and have had no contact from CIC. I'm pretty sure that I read that all applications are processed in order that they are received. Looks like mine may have been lost........ ::)

Have you looked at the spreadsheet? It is proof that applications are not processed in the order they are received. I am still waiting and I applies in September 2014, I know they have my application and I'm sure they have yours too.

doesn't sound like sour grapes - sounds like you've paid a lot of money and have your life on hold, and see that the office is not handling the applications in a fair manner. you're more than entitled to be frustrated about it.

Looking at recent DM to COPR time on the spreadsheet the wait is about 3 weeks, so you've probably got another week and a bit to go :)

I safely landed at Pearson Airport today. landing process went smooth.

I found on the CIC website that it processes applications in order they are received. I'm in Calgary. Unable to work. Eating through savings. My wife is working to provide for our family in a job that she hates. We're still staying with family in the basement and are in an area where we don't want to be. I've paid for my application and my RPRF already. It just isn't on.
Thanks for understanding and congratulations to you.
People are being approved now quicker than I went in process on the CIC website. I can't believe that they started processing my application on February 20th of this year. Does opening an envelope constitute the start of the application process?
