Just checked ECAS this morning and we have Decision Made!!! I can't believe it. The amount of times I've checked ECAS and been greeted with the same thing. Shout-out for you all for helping in this, especially Andrew-Brit and Schnooks for keeping up the spreadsheet. Hope you get DM soon Andrew! I'll let you know when we get COPR

I found on the CIC website that it processes applications in order they are received. I'm in Calgary. Unable to work. Eating through savings. My wife is working to provide for our family in a job that she hates. We're still staying with family in the basement and are in an area where we don't want to be. I've paid for my application and my RPRF already. It just isn't on.

People are being approved now quicker than I went in process on the CIC website. I can't believe that they started processing my application on February 20th of this year. Does opening an envelope constitute the start of the application process?

When did you apply? Have you ordered notes/contacted your MP?

They may process applications in order - in order to put them on one pile or another! But seriously, everyone's case is different, so there's no telling why one person takes longer than another. It could just come down to the officer's speed.

No questions or inquiries from LVO, either, but then we prided ourselves on having our application super complete. Thank god.

The postman delivered our COPR on Saturday! its dated the 11th Nov, you can update the spreadsheet.

We have a few questions for the knowledgeable forum users out there.

1. The COPR says we are common-law, which is how we applied. We got married in June and emailed CIC with the certificate etc before it went to in Process. . Im going to contact them to see if they need to change my CORP before I leave for Canada? if they do does anyone know if they are quick about re-issuing it?

2. I have to land in Canada before the end of January, its when my medicals expire. So I have only 11 weeks to get there. I was planning to go to Canada for a weekend to get my residency formalized and then come back to the UK to sort the move for June. Has anyone else done this and has it all been ok with immigration?

Congratulations misslisa, spreadsheet updated. Out of curiosity did you check ECAS yesterday?

dibden when you do your landing you can tell the officer you are married and that you sent London proof. Be sure to to tell the officer before your landing is processed.

Secondly the FAQ linked in my signature has an answer regarding landing then leaving. In short its no problem but you have to provide them with a Canadian address so they can send your PR card.

We looked on CIC on Tuesday and the website still said "in progress", The COPR arrived in the post yesterday, its dated 30/10/2015 and the letter that came with it is dated 11/11/2015. Then we check CIC just for the laugh and it said DM. Hoping you dont have much longer to wait for yours, although what will the forum do without you?

You are right, it is not fair, all 2014's should be over and done with by now, and for me seeing people get DM being June applicants and i'm before that also isn't fair, F U London.

Great news, congrats Yomaben! Spreadsheet updated, can you check your row in the spreadsheet and make sure I have everything correct? Current location is still correct? Docs requested correct?

Also to other people in the spreadsheet please do the same, check your details in the spreadsheet are correct. If not post what changes need to be made, thanks!

18 approvals for London in November! There was 23 in total for October so they look set to break that record, I wonder if it is down to new govt or is it just a coincidence...

Yomaben, i'm just taking a look at your line on the spreadsheet - do you know why you had a request for a new medical in July and then again in Sept? if it was because of a medical issue or because you didn't submit one in July for whatever reason, no need to explain but i'm just curious whether your July med was only valid for a few months for some reason?
