I sent an email to LVO last week to inquire about my application. We have been in process for a month now and still no news.

Got a reply back this morning. And it is the same response they sent to Andrew.

Currently medical is sent to medical unit to confirm if an extension is possible. If extended, we won't be requested another med.

It's 2 months since ECAS changed to ''in proces'' and still nothing...15 months since they got my application... this waiting is insane so much stress

Please can I be added to the spreadsheet. I find this forum really useful. Hopefully I have provided all the information below. Thanks!

- Date application received in Mississauga - March 16 2015
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law - Common Law
-Date of sponsor approval - May 1st 2015
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email) - Ottawa
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had - Nil
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt - UK - visa-exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific - Toronto

I do have a quick question as well.

When checking online, the Sponsorship Application Status says Decision Made and under it says:

We received your application on X
We started processing your application on X.
We sent you correspondence on X about the decision on your application.

However, the Permanent Residence Application says Application received and under it says:

We received your application on X.

But nothing else. A lot of people seem to say medical received or in process. Is this common? Do I just wait until it says 'in process' and as many people on this forum say, it will move along more quickly from there.

Thank you

Normally in ECAS under the permanent residence application it will mention medical results have been received, but ECAS is not 100% reliable and you should not worry too much. If you included the medical sheet provided by the doctor then they should have it (as they obviously have the rest of your application).

However there is no harm sending a case specific enquiry to Ottawa and asking if they have your medical results, you can also attach a copy of the medical info sheet to the CSE.

I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Thanks so much Andrew-Brit. We did send off the medical with the application but I may just do a CSE with the medical info sheet to be safe.

Spreadsheet updated. Just checking to see if you have received any requests for additional documents?

Not that I know of, we only have 3 lines on ECAS. Date Recieved, Date Medicals Recieved, and the Processing date. Heres hoping its straight forward for us! I was going to send a CSE in a week informing them of my Medical expiring on Oct 24th, and me moving as duel intent on Oct 3rd. Think I should send this now instead?

This is kind of worrying. I kept my mailing address as my wife's address in Canada as I'll be living in a few different short term places here in Korea. I just trust the mail there more. Is this a bad idea if we have to sign for them now?

Is your wife at the address? My partner signed for mine as I was inside holding the dog back!!!

Well, London got my new medical results. ;) then immediately asked me for a new police certificate. :(.

So frustrating. Why couldn't they ask for both at the same time, another month wasted. At least you can do the UK police certificates online now which is an improvement on last year.

Husbands flight is booked for January too , oh lets hope not . Fingers crossed for both of us :)

I was wondering if anyone has been able to find a pattern on when applications got to "in process". I've been reading all your posts and then cross checking you guys on the spread sheet to see when you applied or when you were approved stage 1. If I see someone whos file was sent to London around the same time as ours is that any indication that ours might move to in process soon? I know we have only applied 6 months ago but when we did it was an 11 month process time and that all sounded perfect, we'd be in Canada well in time for our eldest to start school in September 2016. Now it looks like it might not work out so easily.

It it all just random on when they start to process a file ?

Constantly trying not to think about it, but its so stressful when the time frame is totally out of your hands. :'(

But this forum and the spreadsheet do make it easier, at least I feel we'er getting some information on the whole process. Keep up the good work !!!

Lots of us are trying to figure out the pattern and I don't think there is any..:( We probably will never find out how it works with London some application sent later then mine have already ''decision made''.. we are together with my hubby for 9 years .. married for 5 .. we have 2 kids and still waiting around 15 months now for PR :(

Hey, yea my wife will be there to sign for it. I guess I'm good to go!

After 11 months of nothing I get an email from London.

They asked for a copy of my passport, which they have. An updated police report and an updated Schedule A Backgroud/Declaration (IMM 5669).

I really hope this is the end...

We went 'IN PROCESS' today!! It says from 7th May, but I checked yesterday to see if they had updated anything after my CSE and it still said 'application received' and when I checked again today it had changed. But sadly still no response to my CSE.
