We received the same email .I', wondering now if it was the glitch in the system they were talking about further up the page. Mine does not say anything about re medical just we have got to the stage where we require a medical .

We got the same email yesterday asking for medical to be done.. there is no actual leter saing ''you medical has to be redone'' just '' you've reach the stage when medical is required''

I never mention that we are already on the spread sheet my husbands name on this is canucklehead_in_ireland

Taffy, katathfx, yomaben, kasiap, spreadsheet updated.

Average is now over a year according to the spreadsheet but London has approved 6 applications this month, more than it has in the last 3 months.

Hi, Quick Update. Rec'd COPR in mail yesterday (July 18), just 4 days after ECAS changed to DM. Yay!
Could someone pls update the spreadsheet for us. How much more difficult this whole process would have been without this forum and spreadsheet to shed some light on what was happening. It's the kind of info the CIC should actually be providing us. Andrew-Brit and Schnookololy, you guys should be on the CIC payroll for the work you put in to this. Much appreciated. Good Luck to all still waiting. Cheers.

Spreadsheet updated. Glad it was a quick turnaround.

CIC cannot afford my services!

Nor mine! :P
:D lol. You're probably right. Anyway, couldn't get better support at any price! Thanks again.
BTW for anyone just starting this process, the CIC's advice to get the medicals done up front didn't pay off for us. The process took so long, the medicals had to be redone. Take care. Best of luck everyone.

It's not "advice", it's a REQUIREMENT to do your medicals up front. Not doing them up front means you are submitting an incomplete application and CIC can then return it completely for the application being incomplete.

If it's on the checklist, you HAVE to supply it, and proof of completing the medical is on the checklist. :)

I am going to be sending a quick note to LVO letting them know that husband's meds are expiring Mid August, and I will also attach a note from my doctor stating my pregnancy. I know that pregnancy may not expedite the process, but I want to put it out there anyway.

Sounds sensible! If they ignore it then you are no better off, but if they take some action then bonus. :)

Glad to see the flurry of activity after the slow frustrating few weeks it seems to have been.

Quick question :

My wife as sponsor was sent ECAS log in details when she received AOR and since being approved we know the application was sent to London. I, as principal applicant have not received any correspondence or log in info for ECAS.

We know it is in London and all is well (she sent them an e-mail to change her surname from maiden to married and it has been changed) but I was wondering if I should have heard anything by now? I can't see anything in the FAQ that specifically mentions principal receiving notification that the application is received and ECAS log in details.

I've tried logging in but no dice, I assume I won't be able to for a while (possibly until it is IN PROGRESS) but wanted to double check!

Thanks

CC

AOR/SA letter has UCI and Application No: on it. If you put UCI along with sponsor/wife details ECAS will status of both SA and Applicant's application. If you use Application No: you will have to put in your/applicant details and it will show you status of only your side/London.

And you won't get any communication from London regarding them receiving your application, some offices do send AOR2 but London won't. Nothing to worry about.

It seems that a few people have been getting medical requests recently. We did another enquiry on the weekend (After sending our medical results twice, once with application and one as a case specific enquiry, we received an email saying we had 30 days to do a medical). This was the response we got today:

Please disregard the latest letter requesting you to complete another medical. Because the letters are automatically generated and sent, when we correct the issue and linked your medical number (IME), another letter was generated and sent.

So if you have a current medical, but have been asked for another, it may just be another CIC 'Glitch'. Frustrating, but at least we don't have to spend another £300 (just yet, anyhow)

Hi, just a quick update we received COPR in the post on July 17th :) quick question, we are going over to see my family for a few weeks in august, but dont want to activate PR until we move in January. Is this possible?
