thanks yasir.. i am not sure whether they will transfer my file to LVO or ADVO as i am Pakistani Citizen but living and working in Dubai. :-X

How long have you been living in UAE? As far as I know, you have to be living in foreign country for at least one year to qualify for respective visa office. I might be wrong. I myself is a Pakistani who is living and working in South Korea. I had been in korea for 5 months when we filed our application so our file was transferred to LVO instead of Manila (Manila office handles korean applications).

Hey there.

We mailed our application on Feb 12, 2015 from London UK to Mississauga. We had it tracked and it took ages to arrive. We were able to see it delivered by Canada Post "Item Delivered on March 02, 2015"

This is what is says when we go online to track our application:
We received your application to sponsor XXXX on March 2, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 11, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on March 11, 2015 about the decision on your application.

That correspondence stated that:
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

Seemed fast to us too.

When we check the Stage 2: Permanent Residence Application Status, the website now says:
We received XXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on March 2, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Thanks, I have added you.

Guys no disrespect or being rude whatsoever but this thread is for UK applications, not pakistani applications, there are 2 to 3 threads made specifically for them.

I am still a little bit offended. The spreadsheet here also tracks Pakistani files that are being processed by LVO. The information on other threads are very specific to the application etc.

My lawyer received our original documents back from LVO today. Finally app is showing promise!

Hope above is clear, any questions, please feel free to ask.

I must say, assuming i am on the right page, that I have learnt more of the mysteries of CIC on here than on CIC site.

Many thanks :)

If that's what you believe, then why aren't you telling all of the Swedes, Danes, Irish etc. to get off this thread too?

Welcome! Take a seat, glad you could make it!

Can I have the applicant's location? Closest city is fine if you do not want to be too specific!

Hi,

Yet another lurker!

App to sponsor; : 18/06/2014
Sponsor approved : 11/08/2014
Medicals: Upfront (May 2014)
Updated family information for applicant (non-dependents) and RFPR fee request: 30/12/2014
Chased for status update 10/05/2015: Told nothing outstanding from us
Applied outland
Location: London, UK

Most frustrating thing for us, that until last week my wife (sponsor) worked in Canada House - not for the Canadians though! Every day she was literally feet away from our application ::)
