I started a thread about the same thing, Papabri.

We've received no email or letter. Did you receive an email?

Also, we're in the same timeframe as you. We submitted a couple of days before you and got the decision a couple of days before you.

No email yet to me or my wife. We'll see if something comes in the mail this week. I'm sure all is well but it's always nice to get some assurance from the experts in this thread :)

What to expect after "in process" status ?

How long usually it takes for PPR after "in process" , assuming all the documents are complete and up to date?

Thanks

can be 2 weeks or maximum can be 2 months...
on an avg, wait for 3 weeks and you will get DM... :)

I would give it about 10 days and if you haven't received an email or letter give the call center a call. I wouldn't worry. You are able to log on to Ecas so you have your UCI #. Back last year they wasn't even sending out AOR.

hey guys! what is GCMS?? how can I check my status for that? I have logged into the immigration Canada page with my UIC number but don't really have much info in there. My application has been received in London. Also, spreadsheet update: they have requested new PR photos (may 14), so we just submitted those yesterday (May 26). does anyone know the time frame for how it works or what stage of the processing they may be on if they are asking for the photos??

When did you summit your application? and when did it get transferred to LVO. The GGCMS notes you won't find on your file in ECAS. you have to apply for them. They cost $5 bucks and you must have your partner sign a consent form if you the sponsor are applying for them.

Our application was submitted feb 24 to mississagua and transferred to London office May 13th. we just sent in new passport pictures yesterday. who can I apply through to get access to GGCMS?

I doubt if your going to get much info at this time but you can try. I just type in Gcms Notes on my web browers . I go to assess to information Act Consent for access to information and personal information request has to be signed by the applicant. The form # IMM5744E. You fill the form in on line pay the 5 bucks and email it off. It takes 30 days or so to come back, make sure you tick the box with email electronic notes.

Search also in the forum. Some one some where posted a play by play step .

so even tho they have requested for the new PR photos, we are still quite far off. I was hoping maybe that might be a indication they are working on our file already. :S

What was the actual request, can you paste it (minus any personal information)?

One possibility is the photos you provided in the application did not meet the specifications. Another possibility is that CIC lost your photos.

Yeah just as I thought. It is interesting that your visa office is London but London would not have received your application on the 14th May so perhaps the email came from Mississauga.

ya that thought crossed my mind...however they asked us to send the photos to the London office which cost about $30...so I hope they have their sh*t together and we sent it to the right place...

I have been in contact with the London Office about a change of address and they followed up to see if I received the letter in the mail, which I hadn't so they emailed me a copy of it....so it sounds like perhaps Mississauga sent the initial letter on behalf of London, but I think our paperwork might be in London, which i'm hoping for, because they're getting the photos! lol
