Your best to ask in the parent sponsorship thread. LVO is outland and you are required to do a medical upfront, before the application is sent in when you apply spousal and dependent children.

our COPR should have been in hand today (the representative had it yesterday) they mailed it xpresspost, but just dropped it in a postal box, and didnt actually request a pick up or drop it off in person.

So we are now at the mercy of whomever picks up from whichever box they deposited it into yesterday. If we're very fortunate it will be here tomorrow, if we are less fortunate, Friday and next to worst case, sometime next week.

Worst case... Well I don't even wan't to utter the thought.

I know, small potatoes for those of you who applied well before we did and are still waiting. For that I do apologize, it is just incredibly frustrating, especially given the price we paid for their services, and the extra postage charges.

As you were told when you posted the exact same query on this thread a week ago AND AGAIN yesterday, this is NOT the appropriate thread for you to post, so stop spamming.

can be 2 weeks or maximum can be 2 months...
on an avg, wait for 3 weeks and you will get DM...

its been about 2 weeks but no update.....

let me assume it to be max of 2 months to be relatively relaxed and calm

How long usually it takes for PPR after "in process" , assuming all the documents are complete and up to date?

I was also asked for updated immigration pics when file was transferred to LVO a few months ago. The question I have today is I ordered gcms notes and got them finally. In the notes it mentions what date the outgoing request for the new pics was sent from LVO but there is no notes or any other information about the delivery of the pictures even though they have been delivered for couple of months now at the LVO office. Now I am wondering how come it does not reflect the delivery of the pics in the notes at all. Please if this has happened to someone before let me know or what should I do.

You may not find receipt of your new pics documented in your notes but you could send CSE to LVO to verify receipt of your pics.

Does it cause any harm to the baby to go for remedical or medical with X-ray when she is 6 months pregnant.? Has any one faced this kind of situation before.? Would you recommend to go for it or not.? I know if she gets the complete medical done chances are she might get visa in max 2 months..!! as case is in process.

But if she doesn't then we have to wait for her delivery then sent baby's update to them .? then they would again spend 4 5 months on the case.? Am I correct. Please help me on this matter. My timeline is on the left.

I had already sent that cse when the pics were delivered couple of months ago and LVO replied back saying because of lots of mail they receive daily, they don't confirm receipt. Then I read somewhere in this block someone had said that if you send any information to visa offices, it gets reflected in notes so one should order notes after a couple months of delivery. So therefore I had ordered notes and saw nothing in there. Anyhow I hope it has been delivered and attached to the file.

In my humble opinion, Its better to ask the doctor of health clinics whether XRAY is suitable at the stage or not...

I honestly don't think you're going to see an update of your pictures in your GCMS notes . My file was sent to London back last August and in my notes it said no divorce certificate or birth certificate on file. I have ordered my notes every 3 months and each time it says the same thing even though i have sent them twice hoping i would see it on my notes. I also sent them a email requesting an email to confirm. NOTHING .If they need them again or have miss placed them i would just sit back and wait.I'm sure they received them but just not on notes.

This decision is up to you and the Doctors. I wouldn't expect any one is going to tell you any thing different. I have read that the xray technician puts a lead blanket over the tummy to protect the baby, but honestly this is something you and your wife will have to decide.

It will delay your application if you don't. Was your wife asked to do another medical ? Just because your file is in process it doesn't mean she will get visa in max 2 months .

They asked for a IMM5669 E again as there were gaps in it on 21 May 2015, then status changed to in process on 23rd May 2015, on May 27 I got the remedical, remedicals take usually around a month to a month and a half to be processed. That is just an estimation of what could happen. But if I don't go now for xray, that will surely delay it by 5 to 6 months on top.

Hello everyone - to my suprise my COPR was in my mailbox this morning, having only mailed my passport photos and updated info form to Ottawa last week. Can't believe it came so quick! I plan to land at Toronto Pearson on my way back from a trip home in November.
