I received same email today and it stated: please send your photographs to the address below

Which is:
Immigration and Medical Services Division
High Commission of Canada
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London. UK SW1Y 5BJ

My spouse had received the same email last week and we mailed out the new pics to the address listed above and it has already been delivered but have heard nothing from LVO since delivery.

But I am confused about the 29 months now as if you look at the London spreadsheet it seems LVO is working on files received in April 2014 so how can it be 29 months. The only reason behind this could be that a lot of 2012 Islamabad spouse sponsorship files were transferred in 2014 so they adjusted the months according to files received from 2012. Could possibly be that reason.

well you guys at least got some sort of communication... I have heard nothing lol. Perhaps my husband's pictures met the specifications ;).

they only contact if something is missing or not according to specs. u must be very organized in preparing photos n docs :)

you are right rays!,

I was just reviewing the spreadsheet too. I am wondering now if this is actually a typo. Even Islamabad files have been taking only 11-13 months. If you look at those files, they have already been contacted for additional information. A few that I know on this website have already received their COPR or PPR within the time specified on the website.

How can it nearly triple? This is shocking. I may as well withdraw and submit an inland application. The only downside to that is not leaving Canada, my sister is getting married in August this year, and there was me thinking applying in September 2014 was enough time.

Not even sure what the think ... Here I was feeling good about receiving SA and now this. Ouch. Heart broken. Please let this be an error.

Shocked to see processing time for outland spouse cases as it has jumped to 29 months from 11 months for LVO and 36 months from 33 months for IVO. :-[ :( >:(

Yippie!!! Got SA yesterday!!!! Finally. File transferred to London. I also saw the update of 29 months!!! Must be a typo surely. Anyways the wait continues. Interesting that many are being asked to resubmit photos.

All the best, fingers crossed!

Its not a typo error...Actually alot of cases were pending in LVO , such as 2012 files trasnferred to LVO from Pakistan, and so forth..That probably soars the Stage 2 time to 29 months...
and it has been said that there are 2013 and 2014 files still in LVO. So based on tht surely 11 month time is not valid any more....I am afraid,...

hi shy_guy -

My file was transferred at LVO directly on 25-April-2014 and I didn't do upfront medical. Couple of day back I got medical request and I got the medical examination appointment. Can you pls advise either my timeline will be 11 months or 29 months? Any idea? Tnx

So a few weeks ago, I decided I was bored of answering the same questions a zillion times, so I've written up a FAQ page to answer most of the common questions.

http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Spousal_Sponsorship-Canada/FAQ

Worth bookmarking, particularly those of you who tend to answer questions very often.

It's mostly geared to British applicants, but should be mostly applicable to all applications.

Hope it helps!

Man, you have WAY more patience than I do! I don't answer the questions like you but I know what you mean about the same questions all the time! I think the downfall of the forum though is it is really difficult to sift info on here.

Thank you so much for putting this together, I will share this on other parts of the forum when questions arise and may seem this could answer people's queries.

You rock - thank you!!

So now London is up to 29 months! So we're not going to be able to contact our MPs for 29 months, this is a complete joke. So we've now got the 3rd worst posted processing times out of all visa offices.

Now I don't know if we should consider this bad news or extremely bad news because that was depressing when I saw it.

London Visa Office times for family sponsorship have been changed to 29 months from 11 months. WOW WOW.

They updated the processing times for visa offices on January 29, 2015. I am actually depressed now.

This is a sad reality. You think with the election year they would reduce the time as it was painful enough waiting for your spouse. This is simply inhumane.

29 Months?! This can't be right?!

I just had my medical done wednesday and was planning on sending my whole application in 2 weeks. I was feeling so good about beeing able to move to Canada hopefully at the end of this year. Now it feels like all the work I've done is for nothing! Should I just go to Canada with my husband and apply inland since I'd hopefully be able to get a work visa permit while waiting for the inland to go through?

I dont know what to do...

I wonder whether all straightforward UK cases will now just remiain in Canada at Mississagua or Ottawa much like the US applications are all processed in Ottawa and only red flagged apps go to LA. London might just keep those cases that may require more intense scrutiny. Just a thought.
