Yeah, when you get out the doors, head to the right, up the escalator, and grab a Tmmy's coffee!

LOL thanks for the tip, I'll do just that! Once I land in Toronto I have a connection to Winnipeg and whilst I wait I always go to Tim Hortons!

We received notice (from Manilla???) that my husbands medical was not extended. He did not need to get a full medical, but a new chest xray and a visit to a panel doctor (total $275). And it turns out the doctor couldn't send it the results electronically as the file has been locked by the NZ doctor who did the original medical. Hopefully this won't be a problem.

It's been over a year since we sent in our application. I know some people have been waiting longer, but I'm really concerned. The good news is he able to work on a working holiday visa. But we've been in Canada since March and we we really want to to buy a house. It also hasn't been a nice welcome to Canada.

Just needed to vent a little and also wanted to share our experience.

Hey everyone!

I'd like to be added to the spread sheet please. My details are as follows:

-Date application received in Mississauga: 11/18/2014 (based on Canada Post tracking information)
-Common Law
-Date of sponsor approval - N/A
-UK born - visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- Halifax, NS (on a working holiday visa)

I hope this is all the information needed.

Thank you :)

Just landed at the Peach Arch. The mini Canadian flag from the CBSA guard was a nice touch!

Thanks all and good luck! :)

Hi All,

It has been 11 months already for myself, still on the "Application Received" on the website...I was actually wondering does the embassy in London send any mail (as in postal) prior to the status changing online to "In Process"?

I changed my address from Cambridge to London and was few days late in sending the embassy an email to notify them of the address change. Perhaps I am being too paranoid but could any correspondence been sent to my old address?

Thanks as always!
