Thanks Graihn that's really helpful!

Did the email say which address there's two on the website?

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

Or

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

I imagine its the second one but I just want to be sure

Thanks

It did not say in the email what address. I used the courier address, the Robert Speck Pkwy one.

Congratulations!!!! I'm confused why you got an email tho?

my wife got the email not me!

here some of what was written

*This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application has been finalised and we are currently in the process of issuing your Confirmation of Permanent Residence form.*

They then zent on to say when we need to land which is in just a few weeks

HELP! is there a way to find out the status of our application at the London office? I checked the MY CIC website and it says that a decision was made.

Why do you have to land within a few weeks? Makes no sense, your medical expires in three months.. Also, Becki meant it was weird you guys received an email as normally people just get a decision made and have to wait for the decision in regular mail.

So weird, I haven't heard of anyone receiving a final decision via email. Did you get a COPR? Did it come via email too?
Was their email just a reply to an email you/your wife sent?

If you didn't have an interview then it should be a positive decision. Depending on where they are mailing the COPR it can take up to 2 weeks.

I notice you aren't on our spreadsheet. Could we add you? Always helps others to have more data to compare their time line too.

I would need to know:
the data your application as received in Mississauga
Date of sponsor approval
Date of decision made

Thanks so much

Hi everyone,

I am assembling my application to submit to London, just wondering whether I have to include my criminal record checks up front or can I wait until they are requested?
Also, does anyone know at what point in the application process is the medical requested?

Thank you!

For an Outland app you need to send police checks and Medicals up front with the application otherwise you run the risk of having it returned to you

Thanks for your response!
I'll get moving on those then.

No we sent no email. They contacted my wife directly. My status on ECAS is now desicion made. We are waiting for the COPR to arrive in the post. We have to arrive august 23rd. I am guiessing because its so close they emailed us instead of us waiting for COPR to arrive and for us to see desicion made.

I have read that a few ppl have recieved an email this way on canada visa. I dont have link evidence but I am pretty sure I have read it on the spread sheet in the comments section.

I have read on the forums that a few people get an email notification. My ECAS now says desicion made. We have to land august 23rd. Your guess is as good as mine on the landing date.

In some awesome news, our application now says Decision Made. We are absolutely thrilled!

I am having technical difficulties turning you the correct green. It seems all the custom colors have disappeared. I have messaged Schnookololy but she isn't usually around on the weekends. So you may get to be a special green for the weekend :-* Please know it will be fixed and again congrats!

Have you heard anything?

Finally have.

We FINALLY got our SA yesterday June 26th, after an AOR of June 5th.

I'm happy, but at the same time, I'm ***** :'( pissed at CIC for this delay. We pay good money and the government can't improve their process.

They may have started processing our application as an inland by accident, because one day I called to follow up (like 1.5 weeks after AOR) and they called me back next day and left a message. They told me to call back and retrieve a message from an agent. The agent said that what they had told me from a previous call was incorrect, that in fact my application was an outland app... whatever that meant.
