Hello,

I just had a question and was wondering if someone could assist me.

I am currently going through the application process and am still waiting for a result. My wife (a British Citizen) is currently in Canada with me and had a visitor record that was valid until the end of July 2014. I was able to apply online and receive an extension until July 2015 and need to send the revised Visitor Extension to the Canadian Immigration office in London.

My wife also needed to obtain a new passport while we were in Canada and we were able to do that successfully. I also wanted to scan copies of her new passport (along with the new Visitor Extension Record) and send them both to the appropriate office.

What email address do I send these scanned documents to? Is it best to email or should I send copies of the originals through the mail?

Thank you.
I don't see you on our spreadsheet. Do you have a spousal application in progress? If so, would you like to be entered? Also if you have an spousal application in progress can you not just send a case specific enquiry and attach a scanned copy?

Yes, I have an application in process but I don't generally check this website too often. If I have some time I will let you know the details -- I have been approved as a sponsor and my application was sent to the Visa Office in London, UK.

How do you send a Case Specific Inquiry in regards to these matters? Is it something I do using something on the CIC website? I would definitely appreciate any more information as I want to send this information ASAP.

Thank you.

Its nice to have more data for others to judge how long their applications may take.

The information I would need is date your application was received in Mississauga, data of sponsorship approval... and once your application is completed the date of approval. That's it, and would be a great help. Thanks you

OMG GUYS!!

My ecas says "we started processing your app on 30th June"

As much I have almost fallen out of my office chair in joy I can't help but think this is some sort of evil glitch on the system

I've only just sent of my rprf payment, Friday 27th June... surely they did not receive it in 3 days??

Can an application go into process without rprf?

I'm really happy to see this update but something doesn't seem right to me..

Is anyone else having trouble with their E-CAS?

We checked our status yesterday, and got this message (below). We thought it was maybe just a system glitch, but we're getting the same message today, too.

The message says :

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

Thoughts?

Take a deep breathe! In Process just means they are looking at your application. I am sure everything is fine. And CONGRATULATIONS!

I missed sending wedding photos in our application (duh), and when I emailed them right after they received our application the reply came from the same people. After our decision made was done our COPR went temporarily missing and the same people replied. I don't think it indicates anything about where your application is
