They just sent me this..

Dear Applicant,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

They want a new police check, i will get one tomorrow on next day delivery. Am i getting closer or this is going to get a long time?

How frustrating :(

Is your police check more than 12 months old?
..
They advise a 4 month wait to process additional documentation.

OT, but it's nice to hear some happy news these days... Congrats to William and Kate for the baby boy!! :) I watched three hours live stream before the news were break down to the world. :D Not like I would've had anything else to do anyway. ;)

Wonder if the Royal Baby will slow down our applications any further - any slower and they'd be going backwards LOL.

We're done people!!!! And today we also got approved for our mortgage on our new place and then the royal baby is presented to the world. What a crazy 5 mins that was.

We were done as of the 18th. :) Can someone be so kind as to update the s/s please.

Congratulations!! Are you already in Canada or will you be flying to land? :)

I am in the UK and will most likely be landing at Montreal, for Ottawa.

I do wish everyone good luck. This is truly stressful and I know a lot of people are in very tough situations incl being apart from loved ones and the financial strain that can come with it too.

Scottish Maple, my thoughts are, and have been for sometime, with you. For my own sanity, I will not be checking in here so much, but I will keep an occasional eye out for your approval. Chin up :)

Good luck everyone ! :D

I'm not sure what you mean by 'minimal in-process time'?

Thanks Herewecome!

Congratulations to you and your family. Once you get COPR put all this behind you, I know I will be one day!

It was in process for 7 days.

It only changed on Ecas for 7 days, that doesnt mean anything. It use to be that if a persons Ecas changed to in process about 2 days later it would show up as Decision Made. I wouldn't say 6 months was quick, if all this strike action stuff wasn't going on, 6 months would be considered normal.
