Hi everyone,

ALHAMDULILAH the Ecas has now changed to decision made for my husband!! :D :D we submitted his passport last Thursday on May 9, 2013. I didn't check ecas over the weekend but I'm assuming that it has changed today and not over the weekend...

Can someone please update the spreadsheet? :) Also, under the "Notes" section of spreadsheet, please remove "waiting since 222 days"... thanks!

Half mabruk! :-) great to see that you're finally done!

Coming to an end soon. Best of luck.

congrats again, afshe!

guys, we are having a problem. I don't know if to be worried. my husband's passport was delivered to chc london on may 8, which we know from the tracking number (was signed for by "security rm".) we emailed London and asked if they received the self addressed envelope because the person who mailed the package didn't get the tracking number for the return envelope.

They emailed us back and said they hadn't received his passport. I am at a loss as to what to do. I don't know if it's a case of it going through different departments or if they've actually lost it.

london have just increased their processing times to 10 months

email them again, scan a copy of the tracking number, and explain that it has been signed on that day by "security rm". Give them all the details possible to help them locate your passport. If you give them the proof that the passport has arrived at the embassy and has been signed for, they will look for it - and find it. It's the last stretch!!

Good luck,
Sweden

Application submitted in August 2012 - Decision Made last week! Finally! and my home address is now shown as Canada! woohoo! :-) Now waiting for my COPR to arrive. But I'm never home when the postman comes... can anyone tell me if it has to be signed for? Do they leave a note if there's no one home? Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

Congrats! about signed mail - it depends where it's sent to it seems... I received mine in Canada and didn't have to sign for (in fact the postman got the wrong address for a reason and left it in the neighbours' letterbox!) but it seems that in the UK some people had to sign for it... I'm sure that if you have to sign for it, you probably will have a note letting you about it!

Thanks Sweden - much appreciated! Can't wait for the day when I come home and find it in my letterbox! :D This website has been awesome! Thanks so much to everyone who posts in it, especially you and Scottish maple! I haven't posted much coz I've found most of my questions and answers in previous posts. I wish you all the best!

Hey all!
So when I landed last week the immigration officer stapled my copy of COPR into my passport.
I've read how important the COPR is and that I should keep it safe, like in a safe ;)
The officer didn't stamp my passport, now I'm wondering should I take this out of my passport as it shouldn't be in there in the first place!?
Thanks :)

Yay! P.s. thanks for the advice on emailing the london office. I got a reply about 10 days later saying they 'hoped' to finalize my application within 1 - 2 weeks, and nearly two weeks later my status changed to DM! ;) So thrilled! Congrats on Landing

Congrats! Make sure when u land the officer stamps ur passport! Cause if ur visa exempt u need the stamp to get a sin. Without this u have to wait till ur Pr card arrives, which is at the moment quoted as 6-8 weeks!!!
This is the predicament I'm in at the moment....hopefully heading to the nearest airport to get it stamped in the next few days....

awww thanks SM! I myself am really glad to see my row turn red!! ;D and the best part is that I am currently in UK with my husband and his UK visa was expiring mid/end of May and I was planning to go back to Canada without him while he was planning to return to Pakistan and it was a sad time for both of us but our prayers were finally answered (Thank GOD) and I am really happy that we now get to go to Canada together!!!! :)
