Thanks James,

Yeah I heard the same thing, I guess I will find out soon enough lol. :P

it looks like it's actually being implemented already, there are some cases on the forum where people were not asked to do the medicals again because it was the only thing before issuing the visa, and they got an extension from CIC, before getting the visa a few weeks after... so might be the case for you! :-)
Good luck,
Sweden

Not sure who edited last years (2011) spreadsheet but that they have made a pigs ear of it, why would you set the spreadsheet in order of total processing time? If anybody knows how to, can they set it back to the last revision before somebody made the document illegible, in other words so it reads like 2010 and 2012. Last years spreadsheet is used for people applying in the same months this year and they can compare timelines, now because somebody set it to total processing time it looks like a list of chaos.

I don't know whats going on with the spreadsheet lately. Perhaps we should put the password back on it? Does anyone want to volunteer to manage it?

Totally agree it needs to be managed as there seem to be illiterates making illogical changes.

I think if people are sensible and just input data that applies to them or sees 1 or 2 dates not in correct order and places them in the right order it is nice that you don't have to PM somebody or post in this thread to make a minor change. However that said why somebody felt the need to totally destroy a spreadsheet that gave valuable information (I cross referenced last years May's applicants with mine from this year) and list it in total processing time (that is useless to anybody viewing it) is beyond me. Now to cross reference you have to sift through every single applicant that applied last year. I just don't get why last years spreadsheet needed any altering!!! >:( >:( >:(

My only issue with the spreadsheet being accessible to anyone with a link, is that any TROLL could get into it and delete the entire lot. Is the information being backed up by anyone?

Just curious as to why the 2012 spreadsheet doesn't include a column with the final answer of a YES or NO, it only states Decision Made date. Do we assume that the Decision Made is a positive one?

Here is a photo of my PR application, ready to be sent out tomorrow!

Excited!!!

The spreadsheet has generally been fine, just a few idiots altering things recently. I believe that there are saved versions that you can go back to. Trouble is this spreadsheet will be here after we are all gone and to maintain it is time consuming. It was looked after by pinklady who was granted PR a long time ago and obviously now she spends a lot less time on here.

With the DM on the spreadsheet, yes they are all positive and there is now a column with exceptional circumstances, so I am sure that if somebody gets a negative DM (god forbid) then it can be placed in the exceptional circumstances.

EDIT: Ignore my post here, someone had already very kindly sorted the spreadsheet so no need for anything more to be done.

Hopefully no more drastic changes!

thanks. I can relax now...haha

Called CIC this morning. The lady I spoke to had NO information. She said an enquiry was sent on Friday and it takes a few weeks for them to get a response.

She said that all I can do is call back in a few weeks. She couldn't tell me why my file was not sent. She couldn't tell me anything. She said she cannot send another enquiry. They can only send ONE every THREE months.

I told her that I am really upset about this and would like to know where I can file a complaint and she couldn't even tell me that. She said it does not necessarily mean I will be at the back of the queue but that she can't tell me because she does not know how the London office operates.

What is the point in having a call center for enquiries when they can't tell you anything?

This is absolutely ridiculous and I don't know what to do. :( I'm living at hubby's parents' house while he is working out in Alberta and I thought that by now, I would have been able to move, get a job and be independent. Now, I may be sitting here like a mooch for much much longer than anticipated.

So very upset and fed up. Haven't worked in 15 months and this dent in my resume is going to be a pain in the butt. I just turned 32 last week and really feel like I don't have time to waste sitting around anymore. I want to work and we want to get our own place and start a family. Instead, I am forced to sit here day in and day out waiting without any vision of an end to it all.

Aaarrggggghhhh!

nmford on the spreadsheet here... reporting in!

Do I have to inform London if I have a new dependent? My wife (my sponsor) is due in a week!

Looks great xebex! Wish I had thought of the paperclip/bulldog clips, they look so organised! Mine was just in a stack, with heading sheets printed out for each section, e.g. forms, my wife's info and evidence, mine, proof of our relationship, etc. Good luck!

On a separate note, does anyone know if Royal Mail AirSure tells you when the package has been delivered, or do they lose track of it when it leaves the UK?
