Applied CPC-Miss Feb 8th 2012
Sponsorship approved via CPC-Ottawa May 17th 2012
Application started processing and Decision Made on Ecas July 13th London VO
COPR arrived in Canada July 23rd

We are ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!

We are flagpoling this weekend to Niagara Falls!!

Congratulations for a very speedy process, especially that stage 1 took more than 3 months, the stage 2 was super fast - Hope London can do the same for me, as I have just booked my ticket to Canada! :-) and with or without PR, I will be landing on the 15th of October... and probably flagpoling later on to Seattle (BC bound...).

Enjoy Niagar falls - not a bad way to close a PR application indeed!
Cheers,
Sweden

Oh wow! I cant believe it. Today my status has changed to 'Decision Made'. Please let it be a positive decision. London started processing on June 25th. I am keeping everything crossed for a positive decision.

It took 10 days to get here and just needed to be signed for!

Just got the email saying Sponsorship Approved, package sent on to London! Both the wife and I are very excited, and our expected little one at t-17 weeks to go gave a few kicks of approval too!!

Looks like a race is on between baby and residency. We aren't counting on the residency to come through before the due date, but its nice to know its still in the running and either way shouldnt be too long after if all goes well. Best of luck to the rest of the April cohort, and everyone else waiting for the word!

Hi guys

what would be best way to update LVO with change of address on application?
Letter or Email(case specific enquiry)???

Thanks

F

Happy day today!

Received this email today: "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor."

Can you say perfect timing!? Today happens to be my husband's birthday so what a great present! :)

I posted our application via ExpressPost on Friday afternoon at 3.30pm (PST) and it arrived (signed for) in Mississauga at 10am yesterday (Monday)! So happy that it's there, but now the waiting game commences. No AOR yet though not holding my breath for that to arrive any time soon.

Just have to try not to think about what we could have included in the application, though I think we were pretty thorough.

It was very strange to part with it at the post office!

Congratulations to both april applicants who got approved today, looks like London will be busy!

and woffles - congrats on sending the application! :-) I'm sure you did a good job in including everything.

Sweden

hello fellow applicants,

London VO seems to have a good sense of humour.... my address was not correct on ecas so last week I sent a case specific enquiry to correct it.
Today I received an email:

Dear Madam / Sir,

We have received your request with your new address, and the information has been updated to reflect your new contact details. Note that the change of address made by our office may not be reflected on E-Cas. Also note that we will not confirm receipt of fax/ mail/ email received at this office but your file will be updated.

Yours sincerely,

Client Service Unit

Immigration and Medical Services Division | Direction de l'immigration et des services médicaux

Canadian High Commission | Haut-commissariat du Canada

38 Grosvenor Street

London, W1K 4AA | Londres, W1K 4AA

Government of Canada

So basically - they send me a mail to confirm that they have received and made the change, but that they won't send me a mail about it :-)

Well - that's good to know, thank you very much! :-)
At least I know that they have received my file and they have opened it, better than nothing!

Have a nice day all,
Sweden
