From your previous posts, you've been in BC throughout the process. If so, you already qualify for BC MSP; you actually could have gotten healthcare many months ago, as MSP gives coverage to sponsored spouses waiting for PR. Normally, the wait period is the balance of the month a qualifying person arrives in Canada plus 2 months. For spousal PR applicants in Canada, it is the balance of the month you sent your application to CIC plus 2 months.dj322 said:British Columbia
Hey,Heppster said:Hey,
So I checked ECAS today and it has been updated to Decision Made. It has been a few days since I have Checked ECAS since the ball was rolling with the PPR on March 13th. I did check ECAS 2 days after the PPR and it still said "Application Received"
Anyways, ECAS says that they started processing our application on March 12th.
Honestly, it is very spooky to know that a Decision was reached so quickly after they started processing it. It is either we were very organized with the application and gave them everything they needed, or they really are not checking things 100%, or the Processing date is wrong. Although they asked for the passport so that the permanent resident visa can be issued, It is an eerie feeling when the words, "A decision has been made on the application. The office will contact the applicant concerning this decision." It makes it sound like bad news. Hopefully the COPR and Visa come in the mail very soon! The passport was sent off a week ago.
congratulations sounds like its finaly moving on for you!Heppster said:Hey,

Your file is currently awaiting officer review, we will be in touch if any additional information is required.
Thanks

Very slow indeed! Hopefully we will hear something by the end of April, based on timings in the spreadsheet.bmore321 said:Mine is around the same time.. very slow process..
CONGRATS!!mrslc_wright said:States on E-Cas that a decision has been made. This has been added today.
Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get something in the mail confirming what the decision is?
Thank you
