My fiance's landing was very quick and the kids have just had a spending spree in Toys'r'Us with the money they made from selling their old ones on eBay - so much fun!! For all of you who are still waiting...it is worth the weeks/months of effort.

HI Kelly, kelly. said:Hope theres a way around it for you Naz, I think you've done the best thing in hiring a solicitor though.
I don't know whether anybody can help me, I sent additional information requested by CIC London on the 3rd of May - recorded delivery from Canada. I've been able to track it using Canada post, but the last thing on the tracking is "international item has left Vancouver 05/05/2011"
Does it get updated at the other end in England, or am I just wasting my time still checking it?
Congratulations! Great news for you both!CattAdams said:I got the email today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Pressed zero at the automated message to speak to a human (although not an option, it works). The lady I spoke with asked how long I had been waiting. I told her that it had been 3 months since e-CAS had changed its status to "decision made". She told me that was indeed a very long time, which was slightly encouraging, and so put me through to the immigration department. Unfortunately this was just a voicemail so I left a detailed message. If I don't hear anything by next Tuesday (Monday is Victoria day so presumably a holiday for CHC London), I'll give it another go.
